Yeah, even tho he isn't there physically, I understand what you mean about still having him. All the thoughts and fun times you had together are still there and he's still a presence in your life that you can talk to, write to and smile sneaky little happy grins about! Makes the daily drudgery somehow less... drudgy? LOL!

So glad to hear he avoided Heathrow! Whew! Mango! That's a great name! I might have to steal it. Hah! I haven't met him yet, I saw his pic in the Sunday paper. They list adoptees there every week. I called the shelter and they called the woman who's fostering him (one of their employees). We talked for a long time and I got a good feel for what he's like and she got a good feel for how I'd be as a kitty mom. All good, so she's going to bring him by on Jan. 2nd so everybody can meet. Can't wait!!
He made it! I'm so glad! I saw on the news last nite pics from Heathrow (woo! what a MESS!) and the VERY 1st thing I thought was, "OMG! I hope Jamie's honey isn't stuck there!" Yeah, I'll just bet you're tired! Heh heh! Ya know, I probably would have taken that black kitteh if we lived closer. I'm glad he at least has a place to stay in from the cold. The little guy I'm looking to adopt has been in a shelter most of his life (he's only about 1 yr old). Just a plain old orange tabby that was passed over when he was a kitten and now is getting too big to be considered by most people. He's in a foster home at the moment, but they already have 3 dogs and 2 other cats and I get the feeling he's not too happy there. Wish I could just get him NOW, but with the holidays and all, his foster mom has got her hands full, so we're planning on getting together on Jan. 2. Hate having to wait, but what are ya gonna do? Hope your holidays are everything you've been dreaming of and MORE!!!
Hey, LizzieBits! Yeah, I've filled out the application and talked to the lady who's fostering him, and if all goes well I should have him right after the holidays! I'm so excited! It's been way too long!
Well HO HO HO, Miz Clause! Got a list for ya! lol! Won't be long now, eh? I just checked out the weather for Cleveland! Whoo! Guess I'd better quit complaining about how cold it is here! I saw alot of "Snow Showers" in the next 10 days, but I guess that's better than Blizzards! I hope your honey doesn't have any trouble getting there. Boy, would THAT suck! If we don't see ya here for a while, I hope you enjoy every single MINUTE of your holiday and I'll look forward to 'seeing' ya in January! xoxo!
