4 inches of snow here today - are we competeing with Minnesota?

By catparent604 on Dec 3, 2010 at 4:00 PM

Just leaving you a silly little message. :-D

By catparent604 on Nov 10, 2010 at 4:22 AM

Yeah that was some finish to the game, wow. I actually felt bad for the Cards for that collapse. :-o Unfortunately little 4-minute end-of-game comebacks are not going to sustain the Vikes for the season. The local news stations covered the huge multitude of fans outside the Dome who were very vocal about wanting Childress to be fired. I'm sure it will happen, it's just a matter of when. Zygi Wilf wants the state & county gov'ts to build him a new stadium but without a winning team there's no way that gets approved by the voters.

Congrats to the Vikings on diminishing our 14-point fourth-quarter lead Sunday. Over the past two seasons, we are now... even. v_v

By catparent604 on Oct 27, 2010 at 4:22 AM

LOL! And Favre needs to hang it up for good this time. Srsly.

By BigRedRage11 on Oct 26, 2010 at 2:45 PM

Oh, wait! Make that 62! Hahaha.

By BigRedRage11 on Oct 24, 2010 at 8:47 AM

...And the Cards have been out-scored by 50 points this year. Lol. :\

By catparent604 on Oct 23, 2010 at 6:41 PM

I wish. You know, I've made three LOLs in the last week which is more than I've made in the last 6 months, I think. I haven't even been able to get onto the voting page for a long time, so I pretty much stopped doing captions. On another note, the Vikings are a pretty sorry act this year! :-(

By BigRedRage11 on Oct 23, 2010 at 8:20 AM

Why thank you! Now it's your turn. :-D

By catparent604 on Oct 23, 2010 at 5:46 AM

An FP just like that?! :-D Congrats!

By catparent604 on Oct 19, 2010 at 3:21 PM

LOL - it was the cone of shame/food funnel one. Funny thing is, I haven't been here all that much lately either. I try to check out the FP and upcoming about every other day, but I've been unable to be on as often as I used to be. Life happens, you know? :-)

By BigRedRage11 on Oct 19, 2010 at 2:20 PM

Whaaaaaa?!?!?! I'm shocked. Gosh, I don't even know what I'm doing here. I swear, you're like my personal advisor... You let me know before I figure it out :-). Which one was it?

By catparent604 on Oct 19, 2010 at 3:39 AM

Look at you - swooping in for a quick visit and immediately getting a LOL on Upcoming. :-) Nice job!

By catparent604 on Jul 8, 2010 at 9:18 AM

Oh that's the pits! I'm glad that's only happened to me once, and not for that long. Glad you made it back safely, and I'm sure the cats and Speedy are happy to see you. :-)

By BigRedRage11 on Jul 8, 2010 at 7:22 AM

Yep, plane rides back went fairly well. Other than the fact that we arrived home 2 1/2 hours later than we should've. We sat on the tarmac in Dallas for 2 hours because of weather issues.

Wow! I forget sometimes just how big some dogs can get. On Saturday I saw a woman walking a St. Bernard and a small dog that was maybe a Jack Russell terrier. What an odd couple they made! lol Hope you have/had a safe trip home.

I'm still in Phoenix, and I went to a pool party at a friend's house... Had a blast. They have a dog the size of a horse (not exaggerating at all) and when you scratch behind her ears, she leans against you... Almost knocked me over.

Thanks, that's one of my favorite Pepper pictures. I had a nice day yesterday, didn't do anything special. How about you?

By BigRedRage11 on Jul 4, 2010 at 11:09 PM

Hahaha, yeah. Love the new profile pic, btw. How was your Independence Day?

By catparent604 on Jun 29, 2010 at 2:10 PM

Well I guess you have an excuse for not seeing it then, ha!

By BigRedRage11 on Jun 29, 2010 at 8:24 AM

ed* - I was 8 months old when it came out. Lol. :)

By catparent604 on Jun 28, 2010 at 6:46 PM

By BigRedRage11 on Jun 28, 2010 at 6:00 PM

Haha... Too late.

By catparent604 on Jun 28, 2010 at 2:27 PM

ed - don't tell Julie, but I haven't seen Poltergeist either, lol.....

Tornados down here mircaulously miss us to the south. Almost always. There's a city about an hour south of us that is constantly getting hit by bad ones. It seems every time they "recover" they get hit again. Guess that's why 2,000 people live there, haha.

By catparent604 on Jun 26, 2010 at 9:06 AM

I ran some errands this morning and it's miserable out, as I expected. Unfortunately we get tornadoes in MN, too. I live in a metropolitan area so we don't usually have to worry about them too much since they usually dissipate before they reach us, but there was a very serious one north of here earlier this month. We get some crazy weather up here!

By BigRedRage11 on Jun 26, 2010 at 8:34 AM

Lucky duck. I'm getting tired of watering my garden... The clouds are slacking off! Haha. But instead of flooding like that, Arkansans are pretty used to being warned of a gigantic tornado, only to be hit with light showers. An actual tornado hasn't hit our area since 2004.

By catparent604 on Jun 26, 2010 at 5:55 AM

We finally got one of the predicted thunderstorms last night, and it was a biggie. There was flash-flooding on multiple highways, including the two that I drive on the most. So today will be ridiculously humid and tonight we'll probably get another storm. I think I'll stay in and just pet the kitty tonight. :-D

By BigRedRage11 on Jun 25, 2010 at 7:59 AM

I know what that's like. Often times I faint when I'm out in the heat. I don't think I could handle mowing every three days either. Seems unnecessary. But unlike Pepper... Orange Cat is still willing to take trips outside. Just in the evening.

By catparent604 on Jun 24, 2010 at 2:45 PM

Our neighbor lady mows about every three days - I don't know how she can stand it. Pepper doesn't even want to sniff outside much when it's like this. We typically have a couple of stretches in the 90s and the rare 100+ every summer, and I can't hardly stand to walk from my house to the car and from the car into work. Ugh.
