I'm beginning to find my way around too, but it is definitely not easier! I actually made a couple of LOLs - need to get back into it, I am still not very skilled at it, need more practice! (and need to be able to check all the LOLs made from a picture - I'm probably duplicating other peoples' ideas!)
Bubba! It's actually getting better and easier...and they are working on the problems. I find no trouble at all doing my two main things, LOLLING and checking with friends.

Bubba, don't worry, all your LOLs will make "the cut" (there really isn't one.) It's just that Syl is having a family thing at her house and hasn't had time to fave them yet. Believe me, they are going in the archives! KKPS is not competitive...it's everybody's additions to the "communal story" that are the fun part. So at some point you will see all your LOLS go by.

Well, for heaven's sakes. I had no idea that was there! - so do they notify you if one of your LOLs is chosen, or is it a page we should visit every day to see what's there? obviously nothing of mine has made it, my things usually sink like stones in a pond, with just a few ripples proving that they were ever there...
Well, if you just ask your computer to go to http://icanhascheezburger.com, the page your are taken to is the Front Page. This means that peeps around the world, not members, who just want to have a laugh, get that page, so if your LOL is chosen to be there it's because they think it's special. At the top of that page you will see those little tabs like filing tabs. The one to the far left is "HOME" and that is the one that is lit when you are on the Front Page. If you chose the second from the left, which says "Vote" you will be taken to the voting page. Those are LOLS that the monitors like, and they collect votes (by the way, if a LOL of yours goes on the Voting Page, go vote for it yourself, because when they put you there they set your votes to zero.) So Front Page is really special and Voting Page is special, but in reality if you are LOLLING like you were for the KKPS party and everyone is having fun together, I think that's the best of all! KKPS is just a loose story, so you can invent characters like Foofany or be creative in other ways with your LOLS. Your LOLS last night were so great! You got right into the spirit of it (my fave of all was the lunchroom lady hippo and her hubby!) If you think an event should be coming up in the school, like a sports event or something, and you see a photo that inspires you, make a LOL! As for how I do it...I just riff off of what everyone else is doing! rbj and 2katmom and katkabob and allcatsloved are among the most expert and avid KKPS fans! They always have some good idea. (Once rbj suddenly decided that the kitties had painted a picture on the outside wall of the school with some "obscene elements" and we had several days of parents meeting, the principal ranting, and the students being forced to clean the picture off the wall!)

I have to admit, it was dizzying last night, trying to keep up with voting on all the wonderful LOLs everyone was making, and also make some too - how ever do you do it so effortlessly? Do you have some LOLs planned ahead, or do you do it all spontaneously? You all make it look so easy... so many really creative people here... it is a real pleasure to feel a part of the group! Thank you for that! ~ Now, I have a dumb question: What is "the voting page" and how is it different than the "front page"? I thought all LOLs were set up to be voted on? (until the FP was changed that is, now you have to jump through fiery hoops to vote on those LOLs...) This has caused confusion for me in the past when I was chatting with someone, and assumed that the "voting page" and the "Front Page" were one and the same... (I was rather snarkily reprimanded as I recall, although the details grow mercifully vague in the mists of time...) Thanks again! ~ Hugs an Hedbonks
Bubba, I collected all the URLs for your LOLS last night (before you were a friend of KSO) and sent to 1TeamKSO so they will be in the archives. A bunch of them are TOTAL CLASSICS! If you want to check KSO's Favorite section in a day or two, you might make sure I got them all. Thanks for all the fun last night!

Thanks again for the kind words about my LOLs - I just realized that I'm not a friend of 1teamKSO (hope I got that right, and I did send a FR) it's only been since I retired that I've started to get involved in the social side of ICHC (had no idea of the fun and good friendships I was missing out on!) this used to be my secret after-work escape - just faving and voting, enjoying the creativity of others, while giving mine a rest...
Bubba! You're making such GREAT LOLS! When you make one, copy the URL and message it to 1TeamKSO...Syl is out right now but as soon as she gets back she will start putting them in the KKPS archives! (I sent 3 earlier ones in...but check and make sure KKPS gets them all!)
