Hi Bubba, Sorry to hear that you weren't well. Hope you're feeling better. How lovely to hear a birdie and I hope it survives too. You mentioned the scent of flowers here and I have to say that's true. Outside my front door is a frangipani tree and at the back is a night blooming jasmine. I haven't been participating on this site much lately mostly because I've taken an interest in genealogy which I find fascinating and time consuming. One of my rellies traced a branch of my mother's family to 1592 England. The thought of doing that makes my eyes twirl. LOL. Mostly I've been padding out lives through on line digitised newspapers which go back to the settlement of Oz in 1788. Love to hear from you. Rob

I had a kitty named Pearl too. She was kind of a Russian Blue drop-in. I was cooking bacon one day and she arrived at the door and never left. Not the nicest natured kitty - you couldn't step over her without needing several bandaids around the ankle region afterwards. LOL Sounds like you enjoy the hand feeding too, and why not. It's been raining for days and days. The north of the state (NSW) and Queensland has severe flooding again this year. You really have to admire the people who stay. If dere'z a flame-out yu iz welcome heer. ;)

Poor kitty. I'm sure she feels all the love. I'm a night owl too. If I have a good book to read I'll stay awake till 5 am. Good thing I've retired. What is this globe of which you speak? Our kids are taught that the whole world is here.LOL. Starting to feel that way.

Settle down, Bubba. I saved you a slice! What are you doing up at this hour? :)

I live on the east coast, just north of Sydney. We've had a few years of serious water restrictions but then the rains came last year. It seems like it's either flood or drought. The el nino/nina patterns dictate our weather. You must have had a wonderful life with your husband. I've been out twice on Sydney harbor to farewell the Sydney to Hobart racers. What a sight that is. The weather is traditionally stormy around Bass Strait after Xmas day so it's usually an exciting race.

I don't think I'd ever go outside in your winter. lol. I went to the Cheeze collecty forum and joined. One of the Cheeztechs is trying to start a new collecty game but peeps are being very slow in getting behind him. If more interest isn't shown he will prolly forget it because he's doing it on his own time. I think that would be a shame. I ED that you are being soundly lectured by nameless persons. lolol. Good onya for standing up. xoxo

Thanks, but no thanks. The coldest winter temp where I live is about 45F overnight. No frosts even. :) Are you joining the collectible game? I'm not sure what it is.

It's very humid because we've had a lot of rain but not unbearably hot. Thank CC! Bad news about the ice storm coming. Better stockpile plenty of noms. lol. xoxo
