I know--when the vet called them to tell them they were going to get one spay and one neuter notice instead of two spay notices, they didn't believe him! I sent a picture. When they were itteh bitteh kittehz, you'd have thought Linus was a girl--pink nose, tiny meow, loved to cuddle. Lucy had the Groucho Marx mustache, a purr like a Dodge Hemi with no muffler, and when she spoke, it was at full volume. Now that they're grown, however, it's clear he's the boy--he's about 3" longer and 1" talller, and he weighs about 3 lbs. more than his sister. Plus, he's a real bull in the china shop. She is a dainty thing, for al her rumbly purring. I love 'em both to bits!
I agree with you about black and white kitties (who are known either as my little Orca kitties or my little Oreo kitties by family and friends around here). But you know what? Their mom was Saimese, so I don't think your Siamese has anything to worry about. My two certainly got the talking gene, the climbing gene, and the kink-in-the-tail gene--and their eyes are truly green . . . got them from a shelter; was told they were the last two in a litter of 8. Was told they were both girls. I didn't check--the Humane Society is supposed to know its business, right? Well, after being home about 3 weeks, Linus started waving his butt in my face, and I thought, "This is NOT a girl."
