its because of baxter and aggie that i didnt go into respiratory arrest. my kids literally saved my life. the doctors didnt believe my mom when she told them what happened...it was the kitties who 'called her' and were able to wake me up. so, i wanted to thank you , my heartfelt thanks go beyond any words i can summon. you, and dexter and brubby and all the fur angels....you are all soooooooo very very deeply loved. i wanted to tell you DextersCoaliation, that ...you have helped me in accepting my friendship. Your message to me of my beloved boy Baxter being in the Meadow, playing and being safe...and waiting for me....well, there arent words to tell you how you helped my heart. And my Soul.. Bax was my Son, my very Best Friend, my Partner, my Guardian, my confident, my teacher...my love. Baxter and his sister, Agatha, who crossed june 5 of 2009, they both literally i know saved me, my life. I was given a very safe med, to help with muscle problems , lyrica. and it is safe. but i have an unusual metabolism. it was a very low dose. and it knocked me out cold. the next thing i know, baxter is on my left side and aggie is on the right side of my head, aggie mewing loudly, then taking my hair in her mouth and pulling as hard as she could...she was a petite baby. baxter was a strong boy...he gently but firmly was grabbing my ear lobe in his mouth and nipping...my breathing had become so very shallow...they babies knew i was in really big trouble...baxter put his front paws on the soft part of my chest near the arm pit and put all his weight on...to wake me up. i guess i moved and they both started pulling hard on my hair. i remember starting to wake up so groggy, not able to breath well. and they both, without drawing blood were nipping at my neck my ears, my stomach to get me to sit up. and they did it. i was able to slid out of bed to sit on the floor against the bed. i had to phone my mom, (we lived together) i couldnt talk but aggie and baxter talked for me. mom came in and called 911
hi dexter...i just read hunnysuckles story of the night watchman who helps dexter...my heart sung and cried...its so so beautiful. i wanted to let ms hunnysuckes know how deeply profond and touching it is, and it made a huge difference, and it helped me personally....she put into words what i had always hoped would be at the entrance to the bridge...they were sad but yet very happy tears. Thank you very much Hunnysuckle. from me, my 2 fur babies, one of which is Baxters twin, Madison, and for all my children who have passed to the bridge. Thank you so very very much
