Just a quick hello to let you know that I am thinking of you. I'm gradually getting back online after using the last weeks in Feb to get ready for my trip to the NW & then being out there for 3 wks on March. Also, at the end of Feb, my phone & internet service wasn't working. Anyhow, check out my profile, pics, & lols to find out what I've been up to. Soon I hope to get out an e-mail w. more special pics out to my fav. Cheezfriends. Please let me know how you're doing.
I didn't want to blend this in w. my last msg. - Have you heard any new updates on RhoKit? Please let me know if you do. In what age range is she? I just thought that w. the mention of a neighbor chking on her that she might be in the "sr. cit." range - I am heading toward 61 myself.
FYI, PussKitty made a beautiful lol of that poem & let me know. Both she & I have fav'ed it if you want to save it to your faves. I'm going to save it to a mem. stick as well as to my desktop to use as backdrop & to send to friends. The mem. stick I'm going to take to our local Photo kiosk & print out two that I can frame to give to the HS & hang on my wall. Maybe also some billfold sizes that I can carry around. I just didn't have time yest. or last night to make one of my own. Glad that she did it. {{{{hugz}}}}

But i will send supportive loving prayers that each of the babies quickly finds their most deservedly 'forever home'...have missed you. know you have been so busy, and congratulations on your newest grandbaby...he's a handsome little fellow! Don't you love some of the newer lols like "Good friends help you move...." & the otter's Dick Cheney look? There for a while, it seemed like there was a bit of a drought on funny & imaginative lols. I'm glad to see they're coming back more strongly, along w. some newer Cheezpeep talent. I probably missed several good ones, but yesterday when I favorited several, it was the first time in a while that I had ROFL & I needed it! Hope that you're having some smiles & chuckles this week. <);-) BTW, I added some Mountain Stream pics as well as 5 Grizzly pics yesterday.
Oh, yes... if you look closely at the pic of Laz & Mr. Toad, you'll even see one of Laz's toes on the toads back!! ROFL
Glad you enjoyed the one of Laz & Mr. Toad. See mypics to see the sequence of events. I couldn't believe that Mr. Toad stayed there. I guess the lure of insects drawn to the lit lampposts was too much for him. I also put up a series w. Nik & Misty. She has come so far in trusting us. <):-)
Oh, yes, also check out my lolz of Laz, the boat, & the "boys". It just seemed like what he was thinking/saying at the time. Misty, in my profile pic, is becoming more at ease each day she even hung around when the guys were in the house & in the yard - a GIANT step for her! Her "hot spots" are all gone now. I believe they were caused by her anxiety & insecurity. She meows a little feminine meow now & comes on my lap or chest to get loving.
Check out my latest pics of Laz & the rowboat to see our 2 "boys". They, 1 d-i-l, and our baby grandaughter flew in (Roanoke, VA airport) for a little over a week. My husband's parents are the boys' only living grandparents & JuneBug's only living great-grandparents! We knew they'd not be able to travel to see the little one (now 8 mos.), so they brought her to WV. Our other d-i-l is having a time w. nausea, so she stayed home w. our toddler grandson. His little brother or sister should arrive in Feb. 2011, when he just turns 2 yrs!

I just posted this on Echo: To my cheezfriends who have been trying to help me find something Misty will eat, so that I can get her supplements into her: See: http://cheezburger.com/View/3463115776 This is always her reaction to all special goodies that I've tried so far. I've even begun giving it to her without supplements, just to try to find what squishy food she will eat. So far, no luck. Of course, if I don't keep him away, Laz will gobble hers as well as his. <);-)
Check out http://cheezburger.com/View/3460014336 Chessie was the 3rd kitty w. Lazarus & Misty (Tippy) that I couldn't take home. She was the most adoptable of the 3, so that's why I took Laz & Misty. I'm soooo happy that Chessie now has a great forever home. I'll explain more by meow mail.
On Echopoint I just posted msgs that I wanted to get across to several Cheezfriends abt Nik, Laz, & Misty. Our weekend was one of ups & downs - will explain more later, but the shorter version is that at our extended family & friends get-together on Sat, (for our nephew, Evan, who was home on leave before being deployed as 2nd Lieut. in Army to Afghanistan), & after we had watched/heard WVU earn their way into the Final Four, as we were leaving, hubby's mom began to stand, then collapsed. Everything has quieted back down now, but lots of adreneline, road travel, & little sleep for a while.
I brought Lazarus (Laz) and Tippy home from the Humane Society today. First I took Nik, my GSD, in so that they could get acquainted on the kitty's turf. As you can see, Lazarus took right to Nik while Tippy kept an eye on them from up high. Tippy's tail had to be docked when the Humane Society took her in, her tail was seriously damaged . Right now, Laz is lying right next to Nik who is on his bed. Tippy has found a hiding place for a while.

I am posting a request for prayers & warm thoughts, meditations, etc. for my brother-in-law, Jerry. He just found out that his late son's dog, "Socks", has cancer throughout his body. My nephew, Logan, died in Oct. 2006 of sudden cardiac arrest just after he turned 16. He was in their front yard w. a friend & they had just gotten home from football practice. His parents were both out of the county on work assignments and the friend's mom was in charge. Since his death, his mom moved to another state. "Socks" has been my b-i-l's constant companion. To make it even tougher, the two older sons are now out of college & live away from here. The oldest is scheduled to ship out to Afghanistan at the end of this month.
Re: St. Patrick's Day Check out http://www.brazenheadinn.com/index.htm Then *ed* msgs btwn Tiggeez & me. I'm so excited! Not only do hubby & I get to go there for the music, food, & companionship for St. Pat's Day, but we get to meet Tiggeez & her hubby! We only live abt under 2 hr from each other, & the Brazenhead is midway. We had planned to met up somewhere in March or April, but didn't know where yet. At times like these, Cheezland & Cheezfriends are even more special :-)
