It's my impression a lot of work has been done and is still being done behind the scenes here. Maybe if there had been a bit of warning ahead people would have been less upset. But I'm just glad we're getting back the good bits : )
And recaptioning is back, yay! Also, you can see who faved a lol again, I really missed that. Getting better again : )

Ah, the joys of beta... you can only vote on lolz on the voting pages/ submissions. You can get there from any front page, just above the front page lolz where it says 'vote on submissions'. You can't vote in the way we were familiar with on front page lolz, but you can fave them (click on the cheezburger and choose what you want from the drop down menu, you can also save straight to a MySite) or you can do the facebook-thingy, with the button beside it. I hardly go there anymore, it seems so ineffective. It's a lot nicer to just fave funny lolz from friends that cross my dash.

Sort of lost track here too : ) VERY busy with the book club. JeffMurdoch is the genius with the original idea, but I jumped in and SylviaG jumped in and it's a ball. So many lolz there, great to see that lots of people enjoy the place. Your flu getting better?

Did I say you would need to save a pic from the builder to your own computeror laptop first, before you can work on it?
I'm not much on computers either. But paint is one of those basic programs you find on practically any computer. When you view photo's, and you right-click on one, there is an option 'open with' (at least I hope so, I'm translating from Dutch here and the terms are not always exactly the same) . Anyway; 'open with' and choose paint. It's possibilities are very much like the advanced builder. Just remember to 'save as' when you're done, that way you will keep the original photo and have the one you fiddled around with as well.
That must be very frustrating indeed! Maybe you could make your lolz in paint instead? I do that sometimes when the builder is not cooperating.

I have some problems with tiny script or too small buttons to click too! And the other problem: too many friends to always be sure anyway, so if a name seems familiar I just left-click-open in new tab on the name and have a look if it's a friend or not. Once you're used to that, no trouble at all.
The new look takes some getting used to : ) My first reaction was AAARGHH!! but I've calmed down since. Hopefully everything will work as it should soon, like the recaption-option, or how many votes /favorites a lol has. No comments on lolz without facebook or something like it, though : ( So for as long as recaption does not work, I'm scrounging friends' pics again!
