About Me

I love all animals but especially cats! My household is currently down to only 10 cats ranging in age from ~4 mon (Skitter) to >19 yrs (Ajax). The rest of the clan is: Jacks (12) & George (10) ("inherited" when a friend passed away), Cleo (6) & Sammy (6) aka Herkimer (dumped as 3 mon old kittens @ an OH River boat ramp), Socks (7) (rescued from solitary prison in OK), identical triplets Huey, Dewey, & Lucy (3) born to wandering stray Mama Mia (who's now fixed). There's also a German Shepherd-mix dog member (~18 mon old) who just had 9 puppies (now @ Little Victories Shelter; Ona, WV) 2 weeks after I got her. She never even looked preggers & the inept/ignorant (not sure which) vet didn't bother to mention puppies coming soon! All my fur-babies are rescues or strays that my late Hubs & I took in. I am a firm believer in "Have your pets spayed or neutered!" & also feel anyone who abuses an animal deserves to be horse whipped, preferably in Public, & branded so we all can ID them faster!
