Klea just posted me that Bonnie now has All her sets!!!! Thanks for offering to help. BTW if yo ever want to check on what someone needs, just go to their profile page, click on Collectibles tab. The 1st page shows the current (still up for purchase) collectibles and the 2nd page is of retired (Yaris) collectibles. At the top right of the 1st page, you'll see how many total collectibles (inc. extras) that particular CheezPeep has. Also, how many total completed collectible sets that CF has. A complete "Club 82" (without extras) is 328 collectibles in 82 sets. Of course, uncolored collectibles are the ones that still aren't needed. I just noticed today that when a set of 4 is completed, the aqua background rectangle turns a bit darker aqua.
Thanks for your msg. All you have to do is to click on that particular collectible. A little box will come up w. a gift box icon and a magnifying glass. When you click on the gift box, a new popup will appear w. a list of your CFs. Since my name is at the end of the alphabet, it may not show -even after you scroll to the end. (Since I now have over 200 friends, mine ends in the middle of the Rs.) So, (and a quicker way to find other friends) just begin typing in my name in the empty box at the top. As soon as you type "W" your CFs whose names begin w. "W" should show up. You can either finish typing my name, or scroll down this "W" list and click on my name. It will then be highlighted in light blue. At the bottom of the pop-up, there is a place to click "Send Gift". Just click on this, & the coll. is on its way to me. Thanks so much!!
I started to say " Good Morning". Then, I realized that it's late evening for you, so have a good night. I realize that you're "not into" collectibles. However, many CFs are, and that's actually increased communication & introduced new friends. Anyhow, I'd appreciate it if you could help me help some CFs who need collect. to fill their sets. I know that you can send only one each day, but if you can do that, we'd greatly appreciate it. The colls. that CFs I am helping need are: Cake, Toy Mouse, and Candy Heart. Thanks!!!
Re your msg - By Danoz on Oct 25, 2011 at 6:52 PM "sorry I was so short with you but I had to "run" lol then I made a cuppa and then decided to heat up a dogs eye and dead horse for lunch. I tell ya it's all go go go when you're retired ;] and it is nice to catch uo with you :]" I'm just now getting back to you! Unfortunately, when Hubby came back from his hunting/visiting trip to Montana & Wyoming, he brought back some sort of nasty resp. virus. I've been battling that for over 2 weeks, & today is the first day I've really felt like communicating online. I know what you mean abt. retirement & being so busy. Looking back, I can't imagine how I juggled even more when the boys were growing up & I was teaching full time as well as getting advanced degrees. I keep thinking that now I'll sew more - both quilting & sewing for grandbabies - & do other hobbies that I'm interested in, but the time flies by.
I'll have to look up the History Lol for which you're getting many congrats. I haven't been in Cheezland much since Sept. - except to scroll through & earn collectibles. Our younger son, his wife, 2 yr. old grandson, & 8 mo. old grandson flew in from Montana to visit for abt. 10 days in early Oct. Since they left, I've been doing a lot of genealogy work online.
