Thank you so much for your kind words! They mean the world to me! As for PayPal, this link says that they do: http://molineanimalaid.org/index-2.html Please let me know if anyone has trouble with their PayPal & I'll let Vickie (the shelter's president) know right away. Thank you again & you has a wonderful evening!
If you or anyone you know can volunteer time, supplies, or money, it would be greatly appreciated. The two cats in the hospital on oxygen have cost the shelter a vet bill of over $2,500.00. The insurance will not pay for the shelter to be re-wired, so the expense will be astronomical. Every little bit helps. Also, I promise to get back to the collectible trading and giving proper response comments back to you asap. Thank you for bearing w/ me, my good cheez peeps. <3 & Hugs!
Here are some links to news stories and the shelter's web site and face book: http://molineanimalaid.org/ http://www.facebook.com/animalaidhumanesociety?sk=wall http://www.wqad.com/news/wqad-lost-cats-13112,0,1010270.story http://www.kljb.com/story/16653890/more-cats-located-after-humane-society-fire (This one's hard to watch. You'll see Tebow, who died recently from stomach tube complications, being carried out w/ an oxygen mask by a fireman.) http://www.wqad.com/news/wqad-exclusive-look-inside-the-burned-out-animal-aid-shelter-20120131,0,2017469.story
Hi My good cheez friends. Many apologies about not being online & in the collectable game. I write to you with tears in my eyes and a broken heart. The Moline Animal Aid Humane Society (a no kill shelter where I volunteer nightly) burned on 1-30-12 and eleven of my kids (the cats in the FIV room) were killed in the fire. Three survived the FIV room where the fire started. Two were on oxygen & in intensive care, and one came out unscathed. Last week we lost one more due to complications with his stomach feeding tube. (He had burns inside of his little mouth.) The firemen had to break doors and windows open to put out the flames, and when they did, about 24 of our cats got outside and loose in the neighbourhood. I've been spending every waking hour outside of work and sleep hunting for our AWOL cats, peppering the neighbourhood with flyers, and volunteering at the temporary shelter. We have about 4 cats left outside, so we've been making progress slowly but surely.
LOL! Yeah! I remember when they first came out & I was so confused & frustrated because I was getting the same collectible every day & couldn't figure out how to fill in the sets. So, I'd have a whole bunch of one collectible in a set & be totally lacking the rest of the set. But they did definitely grow on me & now I miss them lots. I thought that gifting was a nice and quick way to let your cheez friends know that you're thinking of them even when you don't have time for a proper comment. Oh well! I'll just have to make time for proper comments now LOL! <3 & Hugs!
Sweet! Just got a Yaris Picture Day for you from skepdudeabides and a Yaris Joke Book for you from catparent604! Well have you completed in no time! :) As for the coins, I was going to see what we could get done and then on (or around) the last day, which I think might be Feb. 15th, I was going to see what was needed then. I'm not too sure what to go for just yet, but I will try to figure it out some time in early Feb. what the coins should be used for and make a list of some sort. If you need any of my extras for your cheez friends, please let me know. I'm always happy to help! <3 & Hugs! :)
