Since pre-school. Seriously. We went 2 the same preschool and then we went to the same school for elementary (there are 2 schools for elementary in our district) and of course, all the people in the elementary combine when they get to middle school. Well in 3rd grade that's when I moved next to her. We were so excited! And now we're much better friends because a while back we hardly knew each other, but we were still kind of friends. :-)
Thanks but I'm OK. I could use a little vacation from all of the seriousness though. I haven't had a really good laugh for a long time.. Unfortunately my choice of smiles are illegal in this part of the world. "I'd walk a mile for an illegal smile". Like the song says. If I was a real cat I'd be a nipaholic just for the fun of it.
not much. My friend who lives right next door is at her grandma's (which is just about 1/10 a mile away, its in the same neighborhood) and we ride our bikes there a lot to play but anyway she's at her grandmas... I think but I got up early just to have a lemonade stand with her and she slept in or she's outside in her grandma's yard I think. I could go knock on her actual house door. If she's not there they'll just tell me that. Her family should be awake, its almost noon where I am!!!
No, I wasn't hurt. It was quite fun! Yes, I have slipped down leaves like that before. One time running into my gymnastics class I slipped and fell on to the ground!! I was so sore I don't know how I did gymnastics the rest of the day.
We just bring brown paper bag lunches with whatever drink we want. I like the nature trips too. During the trip I fell down a mulch pile on my back!
I'll tell you where I begin when ever I'm faced with a situation like yours. I start by whistling a happy tune. It doesn't matter what so long as it's happy. You know like the sound of happy feet dancing on the floor. Rum tikka tum tum, Rum tikka tum. Fuma diddle Ruma diddle Tuma diddle day. Make one up as you go along and let it just flow out of you like water flowing out of a tap. It works wonders for me and pretty soon I'm dancing along with the tune and I forget all of my troubles or at least they cease to be the great burden I first thought them to be.
I'm afraid I would be a great disappointment to you. I seem to be getting rather doggish in my old age and when I am frustrated I growl and snap a lot. Some times I really hate getting old though it's a wonder that I have made it this far. When I was a young man I never thoght I'd make it past fifty. Now I think it's G-Ds way of having one over on me. The Almighty does have a really wierd sense of humor at times.
We seem to be in the same position, caught between the machinations of mother nature and the creeping infirmities of old age. Though probably not so much in your case, still thhis business of living can sometimes catch one on the down side. But cheer up old girl, lifes a grand ride if we let it be. Take some time to smell the flowers. Never forget that they are there and doing the same things that we are doing in our efforts of living, but they still have some time to put out a good vibe. Flowers have a lot to teach us if we are wise enough to hear their message.
I'm BACK!! I HAVEN'T BEEN ON FOREVER!! I just got back form a school field trip; we planted trees and wildflowers and went for a walk in the woods. My favorite movies are UP, Over The Hedge, and probably National Velvet. By the way, search "evolution the game" on the web and play it. It is so much fun! I had a great game going but the power went out and I lost everything.
Think for a moment about the number of individuals living within the jurisdictional borders of China proper. How many people do you think that entails? Now, consider the enormity of trying to manage to feed, clothe, house and educate that many people and at the same time maintain some semblance of social order despite the vicisisitudes of nature and the environment. It's no simple matter I can asure you. China is not a monolithic state. Within its borders are contained literally dozens of differing minority ethnic groups each with its own language, customs and culture. As well, even the official languages divided between Mandarin and Cantonese are not mutually comprehensible. As well there are multiple dialects of each spoken language in differing regions so much that a man from one villiage often cannot understand the language spoken in a villiage no more than twenty five miles distant. How would you manage such a population?
Yes my day was a good one. It was cold, damp, & dreary outside so I did some cleaning. I got a lot done, I also groomed one of my poodles & my Maltese. It was a productive day. Tomorrow I will have my grandson, so I won't get much done.
I prefer not to discuss serious subjects here at ICHC. You didn't offend me. I hope I didn't offend you with my answer to your question. I just like to keep things on the light side here. How was your day?
New LOLs? Yes I have. Quite a few in fact. I won't begin to describe them but you can review my additions to my favorites. I've got quite an ecletic collection.
I had another friend that *EDed* & when I read it again it did sound a bit strange. I figured I would clarify the subject, LOL. I got mine from QVC about a year & a half ago. I can't remember the maker. As long as it is at least 3 inches thick, I wouldn't think it would matter.
Hi! That's exactly what I thought. Then I did some research. Anything under 3 inches is a waste of money. I never took the obese idea into consideration though, I wonder if they would need more that 3 inches? Good point. How have you been? All is well here. The weather is finally starting to warm up again.
I'm not going anywhere though I might spend more time on other sites depending upon what I happen to be doing at the time. I want to spend some time here at least once a day. If for no other reason than to keep up with the LOLs. There have been some really great LOLs comming across my screen. I can't seem to get enough of them.
