From your pics, I see that you had 2 long-haired black beauties. The pic of the kitty going into the turquoise tunnel...was that Elmo? (All you can see is his bum.) If it is, do you mind if I caption it? it would be another memorial.

Hi, Sweetheart. I'm so sorry. There's not much that can be said, except we love you and will be praying for you. Is that Elmo, in the beautiful LOL of a long-haired black cat, that Merlin did? GORGEOUS cat! (As anyone who reads my LOLz knows, I have a soft spot for black cats!) I wish there were some way I could help. Cuddle up the other kitties, and never be afraid to cry. My heart is just breaking at the news of your amazing Elmo Macaroni. Best name EVER. I know that Elmo is meeting and playing with all the other great kittehs that have gone before him. I'm sure my sweet Romeow is thrilled to see Elmo. But, that doesn't do much for your broken heart and emptiness that you have. If other's tears and sadness can ease your pain, I'm definitely doing my part. My condolences, Poo. I'm so sorry.

Oh Poo. I'm choking back tears, my friend. Elmo is such a special furbaby. My heart is breaking for you. It's awful to have to make that decision, but you have to know it was the right one for your friend Elmo. He didn't deserve to be in pain for any length of time. I'll always feel guilty for not letting Merlin go a few weeks earlier than we did. He suffered in silence and we knew he was in pain, but could not bring ourselves to do what was right for him instead of for ourselves. What you did for him was a selfless gift, even if it doesn't feel that way right now. Gather Willie & Dazzie to you, they'll help you work through this most unexpected and tragic loss. They will be there for you when you need some warm fuzzy hugs. And - we'll all be here for you too. Anytime. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Elmo Macaroni. Extra Fuzzy Rubz, Merlin
