you nailed it - the originals were big screen stories. the others are fine but seem 'shallow'. thanks for helping me think thru that, appreciate it. I'll have to give you a shout when I blast thru milwaukee this summer and buy you a vino.:-)

By YesSirmam on Mar 10, 2010 at 4:10 PM

thanks. strength is found when there is no other option as apparently you know :-) I've never got around to asking you your opinion - the prequels to SW are fine as they are, but I miss the caliber of the originals. I enjoy the recovery of his original vision w/ the originals, but its not the same. what you think is nagging me since you were all over it so to speak?

i think i've fav'd a few. Keep up the health pursuit. The ancient folk had it right...a glass of wine or beer every so often keeps the pipes running and you in just the right spot for that RX :-) Seriously, take care of yourself. I'm ok if its too personal, but is it basic warranties expiring in the bod, or something specific that's got your attention?

That would be great to work from homebase. We're gonna Amtrak this year to Milwaukee area and take it from there. I enjoy long distance trains - they enforced quiet time :-). I just try not to think about that one movie whose title I forget. I think it was a Christie. You know the one?

My children were outside of Plymouth WI when the storm winds hit last summer...or was it the summer before? Anyway, great memories being able to go 4x4 to pick them up of the mountain (ok, hill) and loving it. They loved the slipping, sliding, demolition derby ride back down as only youngsters can...WI must be a site in winter if winds like that hit frequently!

Ah, now THAT' entertainment :-)..watching the scrambling. I don't follow late night anymore unless I'm up and need white noise in the background. I prefer reading the late night scripts instead.
