Hi Emerald, Not realling up for much at the moment..grandchild just got back to school on Monday, by Tuesday night she was breaking out in spots... Chickenpox...so home for at least another week...so despit e being vaccinated as a baby, and having a mild dose of it 3 years ago, this time her poor litle body was so run-down, she picked it up in hospital...not fair! Then today I had to take one of my beloved cats to the vet, she hadn't seemed quite "right" for a little while, she was only 6, turned out she had a brain tumour....so I had to make the terrible decision, to let her go peacefully and before everything went haywire for her. I got to cuddle her and cry, while she departed this world and went over the bridge. I couldn't have let her suffer, and the vet said she was showing signs that it wouldn't have beeen too long before she was a mess. I can't imagine letting any of our beautiful animals suffer. This way she went peacefully, but oh how I already miss her. Still crying, and my other cat is looking for her...breaking my heart, but hopefully she will not fret too much. Love and hugs Cazz xo BB
Ohai again Emerald! Once again life in the real world had to take me away from this site. One of my grandchildren had to have an emergency appendix removal, so I had to be a good Grandma and go mind the other kids..get them off to school etc. My son and his wife needed to be at the hospital, as my granddaughter was really not in a good way, for a week. I was so out of practice in getting kids organised for school.....probably because it's been over 23 years since I had to do it every day. Prior to this I had a great holiday...almost 3 weeks. I visited friends in Canberra and other parts of my home state, and then headed to Victoria to see a few friends there. I visited lots of Art Galleries, ate too much yummy food and had fun. Don't be jealous about summer here...on the East coast of Australia we have had rain, floods, storms and quite cold weather.....so it's like a non-event. Thanks for the collectibles, I was amazed at how generous all of the Cheezpeeps were with their gifts. I did pass on any double ups that I had, but as I was a newbie, I didn't have many. So again, sorry for the delay.....and yes please call me Cazz ( short for Carol )..even my grandchildren call me Cazza....I'm absolutely not a Nanna or Grandma kind of girl... I refuse to act my age, and I'm certainly not anything like my Grandmas' were....no apron or knitting for me. Hope that your weather starts to improve, and that Spring arrives on time. Thanks for the collectible....everyone has been very kind sending things, so any extras I get I will pass on to those who request them.
