I'm glad that things worked out with all of Cheryl's cats. I guess it was meant to be. I'm really sorry that you may have to move. I know how much you like the house and the location. Is there any hope of doing anything about the ones causing the disturbance? Thank you very much for the vibes and the Reiki. It has been a long haul, and coming off the worst year in my career hasn't helped. If Hubcat can only do better with the knee rehab this time now that he has one good leg, it would really help me. Vibes to you that the problem will end and you can stay where you are.
Of Cheryl's 27 cats, her vet took the five ferals we trapped to his barn; his wife took three orinch kits; three went to the Humane Society and family members took three. But the Graces, I managed to rehome 13 cats in three days. As much as I dislike the idea, I keep thinking I have to move to be able to rest. :(
I'm sorry about the loss of your friend and that your sleep is being disturbed. Is the noise from neighbors? Thank you for the good wishes. I have no time to take even a day for me. I started working the day the semester ended and have worked daily since and still am not going to come close to finishing the school stuff before the surgery. I will get the cleaning done though. Even after Hubcat is home, there will be constant visits from the home care folks for weeks, and it's hard to work with all of that, but I must somehow. I go back to work August 6. I hope you can get some good rest soon and that the boys are well. Hugs, Brenda
ED'd surgery date June 30. Sending streaming VIBES for that and for you to actually TAKE a day for rest and kitties. Am trying to rest me self, too but the low key noise on and off at night is gonna drive me nuts. I can't get six hours straight rest. Grrr. Allof the work of Cheryl's cat was done smoothly. I was jsut a tool and the ways and means were there. Her Memorial was Saturday. Hugs and VIBES, Brenda!
Weird indeed when my name is right there under the gif. This place gets worse by the minute. This isn't as bad as the porn (that I block), but it's a new low to credit Unknowns for work by registered users now. I have little time for ICHC anymore anyway, and I didn't put it up to get an FP, so pooh on 'em. LOL! Thanks for the message though. I would never have known what they have done otherwise. Have a good one!
Frustrating indeed! Dell service is as good as ever, thank goodness. They gave me the recovery and restoration USB in case something horrible happens again. Usually when they send something like that (they sent it overnight too), they provide packing materials and a label to return it. That made me ask if bad updates are a frequent occurrence now, and I leaned they happen more than many realize. So many programs on the new system "phone home" on their own so that updating is happening much of the time. That gives plenty of opportunity for hiccups to happen--scary.
You are so attentive and careful with the computer that it must have been terribly frustrating! My first ever computer was a Dell and back then (199) the support was wonderful. 'Couse I was the type that would press a button to see what would happen ~ then call the nice support at Dell. Learned a lot and they were wonderfully kind and never said 'DoNawtDoDat' about experimenting!
Thanks, Chris. It has been a difficult week, and I'm still in shock that the image I had made just as I should have had the stoopy bad update and borked when I tried to boot it. As I have been answering kind messages, I thought I saw something that indicated you have had computer problems too. I hope you are all straight now too. At least mine was taken care of by Dell--great tech support.
I know their names and numbers (by the order of their departures to the Bridge). Perhaps I'll make an LOL at the end of the series to recap all of them. I hadn't thought about it until you asked. I hope your breakfast was as good as it sounded. Brownies are scrumptious! Were there any smashed potatoes later?
You are very welcome! Yes, that's my gif. However, that isn't Blackie. It's his grandmother, Brite Eyes, who was the matriarch of the bunch until we lost her in 2006. Blackie did look exactly like her though. I'm going to go through all ten cats as avatars and will change them as the urge hits me. Enjoy your special day.
