Thank you! I'm sorry I was so grouchy; I've been a bit stressed, to say the least.

Oh, sweetie...didn't realize things were that tough! If I lived nearby, I'd take the kittehs off your hands in a minute! Hope everything works out for you & turn around for the better soon! Stay in touch when you can...{{{HUGZ}}}

No, really, when I say I'm poor, I mean I'm on SSI, my husband is unemployed, and we have $7.82 to last my family 'til the 1st. WallyWorld does not carry goat's milk, and I can't even afford the gas to go to whatever town carries goat's milk. I'm in the ghetto, and the kittehs might as well get used to it. Sorry, but they aren't going to be eating better than me and my kids. If you know of anyone in SoCal that wants a kitteh, send them to me, please, as I have not been able to find homes for them, and I'm getting desperate.

Sweetie, Goat's milk isn't THAT much more expensive & the protiens are easier for the kittens to process. Thin the milk to 1/2 & 1/2 & you'll see. For younger kittens, mix it a bit stronger. Cow's protiens are bigger than goat's protiens. Baby kittehs need easily absorbed protiens. Glad they are thriving & hope they continue to do so. I want a baby!!!

It's been about 15 years since I had to raise babeh kittehs. Unfortunately, I haz a poor, so teh kittehs get generic half-and-half from WallyWorld hand-fed out of a medicine dropper, and they just started in on gushie fuds. They've put on weight at an amazing rate, so they're doing quite well. We couldn't afford to take them to the vet's right now, but my husband got their eye infections cleared up with a saline solution. Gods only know what I'm gonna do with them.

PS> mix goat's milk in the gushie fuds...will work wonders. Did for my orphan babbies!

YOU HAZ BABBIES?!?!?!?! Have raised LOTS in my day...dd took over the job when she hit about 10! What are you feeding them? Weakened goat's milk is the best we've found for newborns.

Halp! I haz been held hostage by babeh kittehs! They demand constant sacrifices of milks and gushie fuds! My brainz is gone. It's been 15 years since I had to raise kittens, and I'm waaay too old for this.

*ZOOM* Hai...just passin' thru. Haven't heard from you in a while, so I thought I'd zoom-by on my broom. You doin' okay? It's finally spring here & my balcony looks like a potting shed! Gotta get this project finished since my dd is coming to visit next weekend with the youngest g'son. Have a wunnerful day! {{{HUGZ}}}

Don't worry about it; my time is going to be very limited these next few WEEKS!

By GrammyOgg on Feb 27, 2009 at 3:30 PM

I'll try to see if I can find some of them. Bear with me...my time is limited for the next few days!

Ooooo, you have "12-step" lolz? I would definitely love to see those! The hubby and I are doing massive house/yard spring cleaning this weekend, so I'm sneaking computer time...

By GrammyOgg on Feb 27, 2009 at 6:28 AM

*giggle* There are several '12-step' lolz in my faves...if you wand to spend a few days digging thru 'em! While I'm off this weekend, I'll see if I can locate one or two of the funnier ones...A lot of us spend happy, quality time here. Since I'm not much of one for going out of my house, this is purrfect for me! I get to laugh, socialize & make friends all over the world! ;)

I had to take the day off; my husband says if he sees me on LOLcats anymore, he's gonna put me in a 12-step-program!

That's okay, I have to share the computer with a husband and 2 kids! And then my husband wonders why I'm up so late -- it was the only time I could get the computer! And thanks for friending me :)
