Cyclone is pretty cool. Flying always needed a 90 special (fück air slash), and the secondary effect is very useful. Beast seems to be really weak on the special side, but on the physical side their capabilities are immense both defensively and offensively. Granbull, tangrowth, feraligatr, and druddigon are definitely not frail pokemon lol. Psychic is further just a burden on dual types if savage wrath has good distribution. (savage wrath > life orb play rough, just saying). Metagross is just crying in the corner cursing it's part psychic typing lol (It probably feels this way in the games as well. Psychic is just so bad right now). ---- I don't see how you thought it wasn't. You're kinda underestimating lucario's defensive capabilities... it's not a deoxys-A, you know. Lucario has 10 resists and 1 immunity (feral has 8, but I doubt something feral does yoga). 70-70-70 defenses are nothing exceptional, but it's enough to eat several NVE attacks (especially its 2 quad resists). There are plenty of pokemon that only have offensive capabilities lying within those 11 types, and now they're just set up fodder in front of that monster. In the end, lucario (and everything else that gets that OP move) needs to be dealt with in the same way as xerneas currently is in ubers, i.e. dedicated walls, phasers, and/or all members carry something that puts pressure on it while setting up. Priority won't help since lucario has them too, and the rest is impossible unless the distribution is VERY limited. You don't need to get +2 in one turn if you can get it in two losing what, around half health maybe? (hell, even at +1 no items it surpasses the offensive capabilities of life orb deoxys-A). It's a difficult move to balance, but the perfect health idea might work. Other suggestions include making it +2 but with recoil like hyper beam, lose a chunk of your health like belly drum, or maybe even force a two turn sleep like rest. A move of this magnitude on a pokemon like adaptability S100 lucario calls for actual downsides. Having a negative priority is hardly a downside when you don't lose much that turn lol. DD and quiver dance don't have downsides, but all viable users at least have quad weaknesses and no priority besides dragonite. Mega mence is actually broken, but that's a different story.

I like it. Bug is actually good now and the beast type's balancing is really cool. Water and normal definitely needed more weaknesses and ice needed more resists. Though I don't really like the flying resists on ice - flying has enough problems already, but I guess it opens more options against gale wings. I think ice should resist ghost instead, since ice prevents rigor mortis... well that and ghost's consistency is ridiculous. Ghosts resists on steel will help, since there are a lot of good steel types, but when the only viable things in the game currently stopping shadow ball spam are 2-3 dark types and 2-3 normal types, I developed a dislike for ghosts. Speaking of steel, I like the change you made. Steel is definitely one of the best types in the game and adding another resist may seem like too much, but a water weakness was an excellent idea. Another concern of mine is that beast is super effective against psychic, one of the worst types in the game (THE worst imo. Psychic is just a liability on pretty much all dual types. Even the confusion boost wouldn't save it from its utter shïttiness). I'd rather see electric be weak to beast instead, since electric can use another weakness too. ------ Uhh, Gray? That's pretty much the definition of overpowered. Shell smash is not game breaking because there's at least a downside and the pokemon that learn it have shoddy movepools (other than cloyster, but cloyster has a hard time setting up). Giving that to an adaptability lucario with those stats and movepool? First let me say that it's a pseudo-shadow tag in itself because it's pretty much GG if you don't stop it, then it's just going to keep getting the +1 boosts against pokemon that can't do much against it and then sweep. I mean, it's pretty much a dual-type Xerneas at that point. Too much reward for almost no cost at all. It should at least fail if the user takes damage, like focus punch, or even better have normal priority but it only works when you're at full HP (meaning hazard management and team support becomes important). Wow, this was a long post.

Well to be fair that's what laws do, not exclusive to America. It's just some of them seem really stupid. For example, from a Japanese perspective, banning guns and cigarettes from anime when people can own a personal arsenal makes no sense to me. Ah well, there's only hoping that humanity improves in the long run. ------ Beast type huh. It seems to have a lot of overlaps with normal and dark, hopefully not negating their fighting type weakness. Speaking of altering the type chart, I have a little rant about what they did with gen 6. FAIRIES RESIST BUG?! Not only does that not make a lot of sense, bug needs to be better, not worse... /rant. I like that confusion as a permanent ailment. It's a shame you won't be using any megas though.

Yeah, so we're pretty much saying the same thing. I was actually looking at that tweet while coming up with that theory. I found a picture that somewhat sums up what I think the timeline looks like (minus the anime part). http://articleimage.nicoblomaga.jp/image/121/2014/e/5/e5b0529d6c3e84ea9ed8b6ea681bbec426ab25321416893293.png That sounds like an interesting story. Judging from the universe, are there no mega evolutions, or are mega evolutions introduced in a different way? Like, the terrorists make a technology similar to Mossdeep's link cable to access the 3DS universe and steals mega stones to power up their own pokemon in their quest to kill others', and when the heroes defeat a terrorist member they can get access to one mega. Sorry to just blurt out my own ideas when you most likely have a plan in your head, but I love coming up with ideas for stories (just too lazy to write them and proofread, if you couldn't tell from the terrible grammar of this post).

Well... I do really like drawing since I was 6 years old, and I become addicted to the furry fandom when I was 13 years old and before I have DeviantART I sometimes lurks around Zillabean's gallery, most of her gallery are Professor layton and I still see anthros/furry art sometimes, and now, moving to WhiteJelly (the guy who made the Hawlucha & Kalos starters comic) which also a furry and Digimon...

No problem. It's probably best not to overthink the timeline too much (I know you do fanfics and stuff but) the timeline's a convoluted mess. They made it even more complicated with the mention of the anime. I have a theory, but if you don't want to hear it just ignore everything from this point. I believe the pokemon universe is divided according to the media which they were played on, and in the case of the anime, it's its own universe until XY, which is part of the 3DS universe. I'll start with the simplest: GB universe. It's in complete isolation from the other universes, EV/IV/shiny systems were different and pokemon didn't have any abilities. It's existence is unknown to all other universes, even with the use of the link cable used by mossdeep scientists. The anime until BW is it's own universe as well, which explains why XY Ash looks slightly different and not as stupid compared to previous seasons. There are flashbacks in XY but parallel universes tend to have a lot of overlaps (look at every remake ever). The GBA/DS games belong in the same timeline, where the third installments are canon (eme and plat). Finally, there's the 3DS timeline, where fairies exist, the great war of 2000 years ago took place and pokemon gained the ability to mega evolve. The mossdeep scientists were able to find a bridge to the GBA/DS timeline with the link cable, and it's also the same timeline as the XY anime. Therefore, timeline-wise, Ash's adventure in Kalos takes place around 10 years before the games, hence why Korrina already mastered mega evolution in the games. There's probably a lot of holes in this theory, but it's pretty much unavoidable at this point.

Hey Gray, I know you're one of the biggest hate advocates on here that supports the utter flogging of X and Y, but I wanted to ask you; how much fun did you have with the game the first time you played the main campaign? Did you ever enjoy it or did your opinion of the game take a bitter demise as you continued playing?

True, lol. I heard around 10% of yearly sales are on the 24th of December. It's a strange tradition that has I think comes from Americans eating Turkey for Christmas, but Japan doesn't have any so people settled with KFC. It's been a thing for a few decades now. I've never eaten KFC for Christmas because 1)It's too crowded, 2)My mom's a health nut, so my family never eats fast food (I do with friends sometimes), 3)My family is not a traditional Japanese family. We usually have a more European sort of Christmas.
