I'm trying to remain positive. Since everything else is crazy. After my guy went back to the military, I found out I was pregnant. And now well.... that is something else to deal with. Don't know if I'm happy yet, but I accept it and will just have fun with it.

Wow, what a nice explanation!! I'd have a hard time in the food business. I know I'd put on weight for sure!! So sorry about your heart condition. I still get palpitations occasionally, but it's still from the middle age thing. Looking forward to getting rid of the hot flashes too. It's been 8 years, will it ever end?!! (I assume you are close to my age?) I do pet sitting for a job. I go to people's homes when they are on vacation or go away for a weekend, taking care of their pets right in their homes. I actually make 'visits', just go from one home to the next. Been doing that for almost 7 years now. Best job I ever had! The downside is, you grieve yourself when someone loses a pet. My very best client just recently had to put one of her cats to sleep. I cried off and on for an entire day!! Guess you would call that an occupational hazard. More then a 'hazard' to me! Take care, Mary Jo

Oh, I wish I could develop them on my own!! No, they're from pictures I have. I just changed their background and surroundings. The ivy in the orange kitty pic is some I have growing around here. The B&W kitty I put him in the bag and came up with all the things in his pockets. The little stuffed bear and the bone, he stole from the dog, of course. The calico is not quite finished yet, but was challenging trying to fit the different colors in so that she didn't look like she'd been paintballed!! I'm glad you like them!! I feel inspired!! We're suppose to have a show this fall, so I've got to get busy and paint some more!! Lubs and Hugs, Rena

He could, I know. The mules don't mind him one bit (although they do everything the Amish kids say) and the collie is cat-friendly.

In any cornfield or windbreak in Amish country! That's why the dog is willing to drive for cash - his owners are Amish and the mules don't listen to him.

I paint kitties. Isn't that a surprise!! Look in my favs under Art. I've only done two and am almost finished with the third. I'm a slow painter because I'm a perfectionist. I always paint the eyes first, so the kitty can advise me on the rest. Hugs, Rena

That wouldn't be a popular alarm clock... effective, perhaps...but not popular. I'll bet his reaction to the can hitting the floor was priceless. How long before that lesson fades away? I should knock on wood but I've never awoken to Becky playing with anything in the middle of the night. That's not to say it couldn't have happened but I've never found any evidence of it. I think I'd treat that like her getting on the couch when I'm gone. If I'm not faced with any negative consequences from a technical violation, I'm willing to ignore it.

Hm. Hadn't thought of the dangers of hiring a doggy driver who might swerve to pursue! I better just put that idea on hold until someone figures out how to keep my neighbor's collie from chasing game while on runs for chow. Gas is so expensive that paying him under the table won't save me a dime if he adds extra miles to chase squirrels.

No Mex-texting for that little low-rider! He does seem to drive more safely than some people - an obvious if unfortunate fact. People these days seem to hit houses and bridges a lot more often now than before the GPS units became popular. You never see news stories about dog drivers doing things like that.

Revile from Elf is no fun...what form does that take? Is it meowing, claws in the arm or a subtle leap on mom? Any of those would annoy me. I think Becky resents the fact that I start my day before the sun comes up but she just follows me to a different bed. We're supposed to hit 73 today and I hope the wind doesn't kick up. It blew too much for it to be truly pleasant to hang out on the patio...we still did it though to play some ball. It looks like you'll be able to play outside today in some nice weather.

Mornin. I ED convso between u and BD so am caught up :) Sounds like things have calmed down a bit on the family front. Love BD's card for u. We had a super busy day yesterday and frens and their son and girlfren over for dinner last night. The highlight being strawberry rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream. Oh my stars, it was wonderful. I grow rhubarb but didn't have time to make a pie so bought it at a good bakery. Happy Hump day to u.

Becky's fur was nice and soft tonight for the wrestling session so the brushing really worked out. I'd imagine that those birds can raise quite a ruckus if they get riled. Those finches are hanging out a bit more but they noisily make themselves scarce if we come out back. We don't spend that much time out there so it shouldn't be too much of a problem but I do want to get Becky back there for a daily ball session while I read. We don't hang out close to the nest at that time so hopefully the finches will be cool with it. I logged in here at home using my teacher friend's sign on so I could develop some plans for the kids based upon what they've been doing and what they've been struggling with. The tracking tools are pretty cool. I'm going to hang out for a bit after class on Thursday so we can review and make a plan. My guess is she'll happily let me run with it. There's potential there. Well, I'm sure your cave cat has dragged you off to bed. I'll watch a bit more TV before I turn in. TTYT
