Gaaa website playing up here now too! Window boxes still there to my surprise as we have had loads of rain and they are only drilled in with two screws! Next week is supposed to be a lot better til the weekend so they will get some heat and sun on em, think they probably have grown a bit in the week!

I've not keyed in on the lyrics of the song. It was just reminiscent with the vocal and the guitar. I can't even say I "remember" the Saving Grace theme song like you would Gilligans Island or Love Boat or Brady Bunch...it's more the style that I remember. I'll now take the opportunity to apologize if I've planted any of those theme songs in your head since I mentioned them. If it makes you feel any better it happened to me, too. I loved Saving Grace. I have kind of a thing for Holly Hunter and the character she played. She's not "my type" for a long term relationship but the notion of a weekend is very intriguing...even though I know it would kill me. I couldn't keep up with the lifestyle. Not quite sure why I mentioned that but there it is... Congrats on your Scrabble victory. Is your sis still wanting to come back for more? The games have been awfully competitive. Maybe if you were to go out and plead with the ivy not to die that would help. Agent Orange always seems to be deadly to things we love but has a much tougher time with the things we're really trying to kill.
I don't know how that works, having ten months' growth of hair with infant follicles! Inquiring minds want to know! By the way, the curly-haired guy conducting the impromptu chorus of restaurant patrons was just another customer (only the pianist and singer planned this as a surprise).

She's a fierce competitor for such a mild mannered dog. It would be interesting to see her and Elf face off. Well...interesting to see the final results. The actual competition might leave one wanting to join the game...and that's okay. Has that Ivy started to die off yet? I've been enjoying Justified. That theme song was nagging at me for a bit. It reminded me of something and I couldn't put my finger on it until it dawned on me that I was thinking of the theme song to Saving Grace. I looked to see if it was the same group but apparently not. Still, it's a pleasant memory. I'll have to check the eclipse out. It usually seems that I'm the one reading about the event happening elsewhere in the country and I get left out but we'll catch some of it here. How's that Scrabble game?
I had to declare Jeannie the winner. She was snoring pretty good there for a while. She might have been faking but I doubt it. Actual Zzzzs have to count for something. I expected Elf was pretty gifted. He's probably better at that than even you are at Scrabble. I did watch the NCIS finale...there's going to be a whole lot of cleaning up to do with some of those series. At least I do have something to watch this summer. I started season one of Justified tonight. Good call...thanks for the tip. I'm in the middle of the third episode right now. I hope you find something good for the summer.

We seem to be having a contest to see who can be the laziest around here this afternoon. Jeannie is in the lead but I'm close behind. Becky is playing along but her heart is not in it. She'd rather be chasing a ball. It sounds like you'd already launched into your own version of the game. Are you competing with Elf? I'd imagine he can be pretty good at it.
