Lawsuits! How true! Isn't that the American way??!! lol!

By buyerbware on May 26, 2012 at 9:33 AM

Park bench howling FTW (?????)! If that were aired in the US, there might be a rash of lawsuits by parents whose kids had been yodeling while dumping each other off of park benches.

If I was a little kid I think that commercial would scare the poop right outta me! I'm not fond of clowns to begin with, but that was just creepy. And what's with that one shot of a building on fire? Was that supposed to be him burning down the competition??!! Sheesh!

I wonder if this helped sell any cheeseburgers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvIFHFfh25w

I'll do that! It would be fun to see them.

If you see an older commercial than that (1966 or older), and it has a talking cat, would you please post it to me? It seems to me that some people tried to do what ichc does back then, and if there are even older LOLcat commercials, I'd like to pass those around.

Aw, that was cute!! Tho I must admit, the guy sure looked like a goober. hahaha! And I can't believe each pack was one meal. If I fed Elf that much each meal, he'd be vying for fattest cat in the land!

LOL! The Night the Lights Went Out in Alaska. That really would have been something to see.

I liked this comment, too. "winter time about 3a.m. driving by Mall & I see some strange Xmas lights dancing in the air in? the middle of the street. it was pitch black winter out & I'm thinking I'm seeing things. I drive slowly & I see a dang moose w/ Xmas lights wrapped in its alters & they are lit as they are strung from the trees in the parking lot mall that the moose had been munching on & got the lights hung up in. I always wondered how much further he got before the lights went out. it was quite the sight."

Ooh, I sure hope not!

You know it! For all I know, he might have a Big Bad Mama just like the one I relocated!

By Fauxpaws on May 23, 2012 at 10:17 AM

Guard pigs! Now there's something I hadn't thought of. They're raising turkeys this year, and what with all of her other animals, I doubt if she'd go for it. I'll keep that in mind, tho. Sure glad Jackie decided to move on! I'm sure you are, too!

By buyerbware on May 23, 2012 at 9:26 AM

She could get guard pigs. I understand that potbellied pigs can get huge, and burglars have been run off (and worse) by males. They eat a lot but on a farm, there might be lots of extra shucks, cobs, pumpkins, etc. and being omnivores, pigs aren't picky! I took the gushy fudz to the outside cats on time last night, and Jackie Porkchop was not on the chair, heh heh!

What a cute story! A little piece of Americana. I've always thought pigs were cool. Such smart little boogers. I keep telling my sister she should get a couple for her farm. She just rolls her eyes at me.

LOL! Glad she was amenable to relocation. I hear ya about their teeth! They showed that one in the woman's garage and wow! An angry possum is a force to be reckoned with! We have them all over down here and I've met up with a few, but fortunately they all just ambled on their way.

By buyerbware on May 22, 2012 at 9:07 AM

THE TEETH!!!!!!! whoa! A few years ago, this impossibly huge female possum got behind my house and pounded the door of my water closet (which also has an electric box) with her snout, which was the size of a small dog. She damaged it, so I humane-trapped her (she just barely fit in a raccoon trap) and took her to some woods, which she seemed to enjoy. I just typed "male possum" into the mob name generator. I'd better not be late at feeding time tonight, or I could be in for an interview with "Jackie Porkchop!"

By Fauxpaws on May 22, 2012 at 8:51 AM

I don't remember the water closet incident, but I have a feeling it wasn't a whole lot of fun. I remember a story on the news a few years ago about a woman doing her laundry in her garage when she opened a cabinet over the washing machine only to find a very angry possum in it. *Heart Attack*!!

By buyerbware on May 22, 2012 at 8:36 AM

No, especially after the water closet incident. We'll see if he's forgiven me when I feed them tonight. Usually the top female is the "spokescat" and comes up to the porch to tell me to feed them, so I must have been *way* late for them to enlist a possum for their cause.

By Fauxpaws on May 22, 2012 at 8:32 AM

Haha! I hope he wasn't mad. Ya don't want to make a possom mad!

By buyerbware on May 22, 2012 at 7:20 AM

The cats said nothing. They just kind of looked at him until he looked at me and said, "You're late."

By Fauxpaws on May 22, 2012 at 4:10 AM

HAHAHAHA! So what did he say? Or did your cats do all the talking? That's too funny! Loved loved LOVED that video!

By buyerbware on May 21, 2012 at 11:30 PM

I must live in Bloom County. When I went to the porch to feed the cats, they were waiting on the steps and a possum was waiting on the porch, sitting in my chair.
