London is a fantastic author! He has his own style, like no one else's. He wrote Call Of The Wild, you might have heard of that? Although my favorite book of his is White Fang. I have a collection of most of his books.
Ahh, yeah. I totally understand. Also, for Within Temptation, I'd have to say Jillian is my favorite. :D With your previous post, I LOVE WOLVES! :D Maybe I should check out london one of these days. :)
YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!! (Sorry...) I LOVE Within Temptation! My favorite songs of them are The Dance, Jillian (I'd Give My Heart), and Our Solemn Hour. I also really like the bands Sirenia, Epica, Tristania, Theatre Of Tragedy, Apocalyptica, Tarot, Metallica, After Forever, Edenbridge, Krypteria, Kamelot, Sonata Arctica... I could go on, but I think you get the point. :) The big problem with my taste in music is that I live in America, where almost no one appreciates good metal anymore. Everyone is obsessed with rap, pop, and hip-hop. It's pretty much impossible to find any albums by the artists I like in stores, and NOBODY I know has even heard of my favorite bands, except one friend who I got into Nightwish by lending her all their CD's I have, and two people who knew Evanescence. I have to order most of my CD's online, and the only way I can talk to people with the same tastes is on sites like these. It's really, really sad...
I like mostly Fiction, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Mystery, and Horror. Stephen King is the best! I also like some older authors like Mark Twain and Jack London. (Especially since london writes a lot about wolves, and I love wolves. :) I have a million books in my bedroom alone, so it would take forever to talk about what I read, but I especially enjoy the Cirque Du Freak books by Darren Shan, The Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher, and anything written by Stephen King! I HATE Twilight!!!
Oh, I just read your 'About Me' again. lol. Rap is annoying to me too. Do you like Within Temptation? They are kinda like Nightwish.
I like a variety of music, though my favorites types are probably some Alternative, Punk-Rock, Rock, and some Instrumental. I also enjoy some Classic Rock. But I like at least a few songs out of any genre. ;) When it comes to books, I prefer Adventure-type fiction. The Drizzt Series by R.A. Salvatore, The Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs, The Marked Series by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast, the Crank Series by Ellen Hopkins, and believe it or not, (this goes against all the others, haha.) I enjoy the Warriors Series by Erin Hunter. What about you?
