LOL. What kills me is you pay outrageous prices for a policy and they still find a way to dry fuck you. I realize not all things may be covered, but it's fucked up when they screw you when it is. Oh, well. Time to head out for the night. Have a good night and I'll catch you later.
No worries. Yeah, I hate their rules and regulations as well. Anything not to pay out. I don't know about Katia. I think the projected path is close to Irene's. We'll just have to wait and see.
Fucking figures. I hate those fuckers almost as much as I hate lawyers, corporate fat cats, politicians, trolls, etc...Burn in hell, every fucking one of them. :-) It's not Lee we've got to worry about. It's Katia. At least it's rolling in from the Atlantic and not the Gulf. If it hits, the east coast gets nailed first before it comes our way. Hopefully it won't hit anywhere that Irene did. That would be a bitch.
Thank you. Yeah, they made it back okay. Now we've got a system in the Gulf they're worried about. Oh, fucking joy. Sorry to hear that you've got to buy all new shit. And let me guess. The insurance company won't pay for it. Fuckers. Please tell me that you don't have much damage to your house otherwise. Don't ask me what normal is. I'm so far away from normal, I can't see it even with the aid of a high powered telescope. :-)
Well, a tsunami or 30' wave is my biggest fear so we aren't that far off. Mine is a result of going out on a tanker with my Daddy when I was about 10. We went thirty miles out...oh, forgot your fear...never mind. Anyway, big waves scare me.
Thank you! It's definitely reminiscent of *my* expression whenever one of those things starts coming my way...!
First time I saw that, I shuddered. Did you notice that poor yellow house sitting there all lby itself? cut-off!! Remeber this is after the storm surges of 8-10 foot waves had stopped.
*blushes* Thanks for your too-kind words! Was sorry to hear Irene bitch-slapped you; too bad she's going to die in a place where we can't dance on her grave.
Thank you. From what I heard, they'll be able to make it out. They're actually flying out of Providence, which seemed to fare well. I talked to my family today and they said they were doing okay. No power outages where they live or too much damage. I know how you feel. Having been through two of them where we lost our power for a week was a motherfucking pain in the ass. No lights, no water, nothing. At least where we are now we have city water so if the lights do go out, we can still flush the toilet and bathe. Hope you got yourself some nice hot coffee. Stay safe.
Well, I called my aunt tonight to wish my uncle a Happy Birthday (they live in Connecticut) and as I predicted, she's freaking out. Not as bad as usual. I've seen her worse. My niece is up there with her baby and she's supposed to come home Monday. I just hope she can get out or my nephew-in-law is going to be pissed.
I think we all do that. We're so used to our routine, we just want to jump back into it. We're doing good down here, thanks for asking. No hurricanes yet. Let's hope it stays that way. Well, I'm off for the evening. Have a good night and I'll catch you later.
