Well, I think it went okay. I really pushed my strengths and admitted my weaknesses...and made it obvious I was taking copious notes. I let her know that I would be looking for online tutors for Powerpoint this afternoon AND, just for fun, I will email her some of the copies of the databases I've created and maintained her at home, along with some charts of the same. Found out there will be some travel involved - WOOT! She asked about my education and when I explained I did not have a degree she responded that the main difference real-world experience and a degree was the base of pay. I just smiled and said, "Well, that makes me the ideal candidate from a fiscal standpoint." I WANT THIS ONE!! *sigh* LOVEYOUMOAREST!!

~lol~ Actually...I really am thinking about it. They've got good training and I'm a damned good student. I just updated OO last week...*sigh* No luck. I need to go on the innertubes and see if I can find a compatibility patch for it, aifinkso. I also need to find a patch for my old Printmaster programs - Windows 7 is *supposed* to do that autmatically but noooo. ~lol~ Speaking of, did I tell you the first interviewer asked if I would be interested in working on the Geek Squad? I really miss Excel - I have the Open Office spreadsheet program but it doesn't use *quite* the same formulas as Excel so I'm forgetting some of my skills, dammit! Not to mention the OO word processor is virtually unreadable by any other format, so if I write something I want to share I have to convert in Google docs and hope it sticks. First paycheck, I'm getting at least Word, if it's available separately. LOVEYOUMOARMOSTERER!!

Awww... *warm fuzzies* Poor Tigg; his cousin Jack is the same way - loud noises and the little guy almost shakes himself apart! We're working on it but it's a slow process with him. He's very intelligent but very stubborn, too, so training is a bit of an issue. Good, no worries, then. We're protected by the Black Hills unless a twister forms directly over us and when that happens they're usually F0-F1. Five miles to the south and east however...not so much. LOVEYOUMOARER!!
