I'll be glad when spring gets here. Period. I think this winter has been the worst other than the year we had that ice storm that knocked our power out for over a week.
i think id perfer the cold over the snow. roads are bad here and i has to go to work today. i just looked out and the snow is still coming down. we have a weather alert/warning for our area.
Ewwwwwh! We got enough Friday/Caturday for it to be ankle-deep but it's all gone now. Still cold tho.
good morning grammyogg, we just got another 4 to 6 last night on top of what we already had. in my yard the snow is up to my knees.

i foundit and i cant wait to get outside in my garden this year. i havelots of iris and lilies that need split and i has a lot of soil mixing to do. i love the smell of hyacinths and cant wait for the tulips and daffidals. i miss spring!!! sigh!!!
Just made another one touting spring.....I don't get the snow y'all have but we've had MORE than enough sleet/freezing rain to last!!! Am looking forward to the blossoms popping out, but am afraid the blooms will be bitten by frost/freezing rain & all the ick we've had....*sigh*
yes grammy i am raising meh paw. is tired of this snow. We has another 2 - 3 inches over night. uhgggg!!! love the lol
Was too cold here to go out to see it....I was doing good to survive the cold in the apt with the temp set on 65...*shivers* I just won't pay extra even though I know the power co. will tack it on...
*snerk* not a chance......was too cloudy earlier & I have been inside since dark....
I'm staying warm....headed for bed in a few minutes....I never get to bed when I plan....*sigh*

I'm off til Moanday afternoon. The weekend girl tried to call out y'day, but I didn't answer my phone. I had a bad headache anyway & took a nap in the afternoon & went to bed early. I've NO intention of getting out in this mess. Snow, yes. Ice? HELLNO!

I was just telling firecat that one of my dd's friends (he's my friend, too) just posted on facebook that the parking lot is a sheet of ice. He lives uphill from me, nearer to the main road. If HE can't get out, I'm not even trying! He can drive his wife's Jeep & I guess he's not gonna try right now.....I can see the sleet just falling like crazy....*pleh*
my drive home from wrk last night was not fun, my nose hairs are still thawing out. but i has my coffee and and jammies are warm. so i is in a happy place watching the flakes come down to. i dont see any ice though thank god, going to see dad today befor i go to wrk.
