Aww....yer welcome. James particularly asked to keep you in the loop. I expect James to be online very soon. He's got a tablet now and just has to learn how to use it. First needs to get through this last knee surgery today. Should be in recovery now. Let's hope all went well.
Hi Foxkatt, thanks so much for the news and update on James. I've been away from my dashboard, and only saw your messages today. So glad that he's ok, despite the severity of the accident. Will drop him a line after this. Thanks again for being my lifeline here. You rock! ^.^
AOCH UPDATE: He's been MOVED!!! After the six hour surgery on his leg yesterday, James was still in recovery last night at 10pm (his time). Got to speak with him briefly and he sounds in good spirits. He said they would be moving him to a totally different unit and there will be another surgery for his hip on Thursday after which he'll be moved yet again. So, any further cards etc., might want to hold off until he's a bit more settled. We're looking into seeing if they're going to forward anything coming in for him (I expect they will). That's about all for now. The surgery went well although his O2 levels were low. He was running the nurse to death needing bed adjustments, warm blankets and ice chips, LOL. He was having issues with the bed because it was an older model they had to dig out of storage just for him 'cause he's such a large fella. LOL....that's "our" cowhand.

Hiya Jag, I'm trying to spread word to his friends. Our friend James (anoldcowhand) was just in a terrible accident today. It was awful cause he was on his way to a very promising job interview. Somebody came tearing out of a side road and totaled his jeep, injuring James badly. What an awful thing to have happen. Here's an lol I created to pass around. I just found out a bit ago. http://cheezburger.com/8206446848 Thanks, Foxy
HE'S OUT and OKAY! I just heard from the big guy himself! He's talking and actually making sense, LOL. Say's they didn't have to put in as much bone graft as they'd thought. The surgeon said he was very happy. He doesn't know how many screws got put in yet but from the X-rays it was (and I quote), "a LOT." Says to tell you all that the prayers n' good thoughts worked and thanks SO much. He'll be in touch himself of course when he gets out.
http://cheezburger.com/7459775488 Thought you should know, our friend got himself hurt. Put his leg through his porch floor on Saturday. Has a Tibial Plateau Fracture and will need a plate and screws. Surgery is on Tuesday. I'm asking all his friends to rally and send love n' support. Pass the word, okay?
Yeah, that's what I usually do, but somehow the formatting was all out that day so I couldn't. No likey the new beta look. >.< Thanks for sharing all the info about the egg. It's really lovely. And the time spent! Wow! What happens to the egg when you're finished with it? Does it go on sale? Or it becomes a gift? ~Sorry to hear that you were not felling well - hope you're all better now.
Hi Jagfan, Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner. Caught a case of the crud and it's been all I could do to make it through a day. The big egg took me a solid month working on it everyday. Lots of work on that one. It's always amazed me how the larger eggs take so much more time because of their bigger surface area. How odd you can't save to favorites. Do you click or hover over the cheez link below the pics? A drop-down appears and then you can click the favorites selection from it. After you do it just puts up a tiny bit of text saying that it's been added. I got confused about it all at first too but have now learned how it works. Thanks, Foxkatt
