My sister and her boyfriend were doing fondue on New Years Eve. They had turned off the pot of hot oil and covered it. When they noticed it was smoking they decided to pour it into another pot and when they took the lid off it burst into flames. My sister's shirt caught on fire and when she finally got it off her entire right arm was in flames. She suffered third degree burns on the entire arm and they did a skin graft this past Sunday. She is doing much better now. What a scary way to end the year huh? I just thank the Powers that Be that it wasn't worse than it was. She is coming home Saturday! WHEE!!!
