Mamagwyn/majikkittehz/Glynda is somewhat better this morning but still in serious condition. Please send prayers and healing l.ight to her and her family. Post messages at either mamagwyn or majikkittehz. She has been put into induced coma to make being on a respirator more easy and is being given high levels of antibiotics so she is stablizing. oh, I so feel for you. I know other people who have multiple pets....lived with them all their lives really, who say it never gets easier. Each one of them is a unique personality. People who don't live with animals too often don't understand how much a part of the family they become...and how quickly.

Oh Kerry, I don't think there is any way to lose someone you love easily. I've seen people try to stay stoic before hand, but they always cry after. Heck, my kitty died in winter so I didn't have to take her to the crematorium right away, but it felt like saying goodbye all over again.

I'm with you about the storms. I LOVE it when you can smell the rain coming in the earth around you. I love fog, cloudy days, and RAIN!! When I was a teenager I would go out and walk when it rained. I loved the rain in my hair, the smells of the rain sinking into the ground...the majesty of the thunder and lightening. The sky opening up to give the thirsty earth a drink....yep, I be loving the rain!!!

My fellow Earth sign...my most funny and creative daughter was born Sept 13, my sister on Sept 15 and my Mom on Sept 16!! Both my Mother and Sister are going through some challenging times right now. We just had our annual girls day weekend this last weekend, and it all makes more sense now. They are both on the verge of some changes, and some stepping up and taking on of people higher up who have abused their trust....happy thoughts and love to you, my dear friend.
