I know I told you before that he woulds be okay, but he has been on ventilator for over 15 days now and cannot breathe on his own anymore. Also, we found out tonight, the mass they took out of his lower intestine was cancer and it is Stage 3 and has metastisized throughout his body. Poor guy....he wants NO life saving machines, NO chemo and if we go against his wishes, I KNOW he will come back and haunt us...LOL! He'd do it with a smile, too!! Even with chemo, he only has 30% chance for life. So family has decided to consult with pulmonologist on Monday, then take off ventilator if there is no chance. He is fighting it now, and you can tell he is NOT happy with that tube down his throat. I has a big sad for him and for his boys and girl. They are suffering to lose their poppy. But have made the right decision.
Thank you so much LadyBast....you all are SO kind! You can't imagine how much your well-wishes, hugs and kisses help out! When I came in tonight, I was SO down....now, with the help of my cheezfriends, I am feeling half-way human again and have actually laffed out loud! I love you guys so much!!
Thanks so very much about my pop in law. He has a good few years left to him, the old coot!! LOL. I lubs him.
Thankee thankee....father in law should be fine now. He is 84 yrs and workin on 90 he says. I am tired, but relieved that he is okay. Thanks for da concern and da lubs.
O Hai LadyBast!! Pleez furgib da lateness of my appreciation of ur frend request. I am not usually so uncouth as to not acknowledge a cheezfrend, but my father-in-law has been in hospital and haz been having surgery and haz been having part of his lower intestine removed....I have been with family at hospital for two days and am exhausted. I am here now, though, to thank you for befrending me and for luving the furbabies of the world. I hope you will go to my pics and find some good ones to LOL on. They are there for the using! Hope to have many laffs with you!! {{HUGS and LUBS}}
