Mine don't talk all the time, he talks mostly when he is near someone . Mine takes a shower with me and steady talks. He says anything he hears a lot. They roost at night and are asleep. He very seldom stays in a cage because he hates it. I have a small room he stays in most of the time because of the cats. When he cries or laughs it sounds human. He calls the cats, in other words he repeats what he hears.

He was two in April, he looks bigger than he is because he fluffs his feathers up. They can live to be 20 in captivity. Have you ever saw or heard one talk?
Yes, I think it is the flash. I just posted a lol of him, check it out. I am trying to find one of him when he was a baby. I call him a him but he might be a she ;). I figured if he/she didn't lay eggs he/she has to be a he...right?
His name is Durdy Burd and he does think I am his mommy. I will try to find a pic of him to post. Every time I come near him with a camera he hides.
My Starling has been inside since I got him when he was featherless, all you could see was a big open mouth. He has an extensive vocabulary. Today he said "Rak, Rak Come here rite now you pussycat!" Rak is one of my cats. Did you see the LOL I made for you? Hugs, Millie
My grey guy isn't that big -- only 10 lbs but verry fluffy. DaVinci is my curious trouble maker. He can't stand not to see what's on the other side of every door. If he was bigger, I'd think he might be a Maine coon, but maybe one of his parents was?? i'll never know -he joined the family at 4 yrs old.

I'm being bad and watching a jessica fletcher marathon while plying on the computer, petting the cat, and occasionally getting up to do some chores ( love that extra day to take some pressure off )!!!
Thanks! I do advertise and am part of an online network called CARE.com, but I'm limited to public transportation or walking as I do not have a car. I love it, too. I mostly do vacation pet sitting (staying at the owners' homes while caring for the pets). I'm really hoping to build my crocheting and crafting but need photos for that. etc., and now Etsy costs $ I do not have at the moment with grandchild due to be born any day now. As much as I pay in cat food, litter, and Vet bills I am sure I couldn't afford you. I would trust you or my sister with my cats but no one else!! I also feed ferals at the river and strays. Don't forget I also have a starling. Hugs, Millie
