I has a happy you likes it! You almost didn't get it...I got it finished and liked it so much that I wanted to keep it for me...! I think those pink beads are soooooo pretty. They're called "miracle beads" and they are the only non-glass and non-natural beads I use. *hugs back* Wear it good health, lovely girl!
I love the story about Maggi! She's a lucky kitty! As for your questions...yes, I really do have purple hair. (I'll send your mom a pic.) I have 4 cats (Morty, Kirby, Brad and Rita) and 1 dog, Sophie. My fave bands are Disturbed, Blue Oyster Cult and the Alan Parsons Project. My favorite song? Too many to mention, really...but maybe "Secret Road" by Buck Dharma. (Aha, ur gonna be googling, aren't you?) My fave singers? Uhm...Brian Ferry (Roxy Music), Chris Rainbow (Alan Parsons Project), David Draiman (Disturbed), Eva Cassidy and Heather Heywood. I hear you've got a major crush a certain trio of brothers...! :oD
When I was a kid I used to read the book about once a month, no kidding! I bought the reprint that came out alongside the movie and reread it for the first time in a WHOOOOLE lot of years and enjoyed it just as much as I did when I was little! My fave part was always the square candies that look round and I was so sad that it wasn't in the movie. *pouts*
You have an AWESOME attitude! You're right, it's not fair to be judged for physical stuff, but sadly, that's just how the world is. I've been overweight almost as long as I can remember - sometimes a little pudgy, sometimes so fat I waddled instead of walking - and I didn't get the acting parts I wanted, or the jobs I applied for because of it. *shrugs* I guess what's most important is that I'm happy. It took me a long time to learn to be, so I'm glad you've got it nailed down already!! *hugs*
I blush to admit this...I saw the movie 28 times in the theater (I have the first ticket sold in this time zone!) and almost *2000* times on dvd. (I really like the version shown on HBO because it has extra scenes!) Sometimes I'll watch the movie 2 or 3 times a day. I have been a big fan of Willy Wonka since I was a lot younger than you, way before the first movie came out - and I didn't like that one because it didn't follow the book closely enough. I think Johnny Depp is the best actor of our time because there's nothing he can't do! The way he played Wonka was perfect and I love him for that.
Hi, sweetie - was so sorry to hear about Elliot making the journey to the Rainbow Bridge. It's so hard to have to stay behind and wait, and I know that nothing anyone says really helps to ease the hurt...but it does get better, I promise. Just remember: the pain you share you can more easily bear. Here's {{{{HUGZ}}}} for you, and I'm always here if you need to "talk." *moar hugs* http://mine.icanhascheezburger.com/view.aspx?ciid=2782762
