Hi MaineFan! Glad you've been singing. That lifts the spirits. May you have a LOVELY Spring. It's still cold in the mornings here. Have to have two outfits every day. Winter until 10, summer by six.

Thanks a lot! A VA cousin-in-law (more like a nephew) is a minister of music & he sent me some web links to "On a Bleak Midwinter" lyrics & history, but I have to buy the sheet music, then print it out, which I haven't done yet. I'll send you those links later. We have company coming after church. We just found out last night, so need to get some things ready & plan meal.

Hi there -- EDd your convo with WatagoSP on 'in the bleak midwinter'. I think that's in the public domain as it's a traditional christmas carol, she should try to google it with 'sheet music' and should be able to print that out. I listened to the celtic women's instrumental and it's pretty much the melody line. Yes -- i'm a nosy parker, but just got a piano last fall and keep trying to make myself practice instead of picking at tunes. So - music stuff catches my eye. have a good evening! **hugs** kris

Just now getting back to replly to your query. Since I need to head off to a waiting, late supper, I'm going to cheat & copy a msg that I just sent Suzi_sMom (whose hubby is Irish on one side & Scottish on the other). I'll get a decent msg to you in the next few days, explaining more abt my singing. [ I've been hunting for the sheet music (for piano, guitar, and/or Mtn. Dulcimer) *and* the instrumental only audio of two Celtic songs, "The Voyage" rec. by Celtic Thunder and "In the Bleak Midwinter" by Celtic Women. I you or your husband every come across any sources - especially on the Internet - for any of those, I'd really appreciate it. I rewrote the lyrics for The Voyage for my in-laws' 63rd anniversary/family reunion. It fits them perfectly, especially since he is a WWII Navy vet & still active in vet. reunions & since we have large family reunion "gathered 'round us". (The last one had over 30 adults, & 16 little ones, w. the oldest being just 7 and the youngest being 2 weeks old! The only ones missing were our NW kids & grands.) "In the Bleak Midwinter" I'd like to have because I want to be able to sing it at church & family Christmases. I sang "Oh, Holy Night" a capella (soprano) one Christmas & it went ok, but I'd really like to have the music of these two.]

Im so glad you are getting the collectibles. Jane works very hard to elp peeps. I just had a duh moment. I was trying to figure out Mainefan when duh I noticed you have a Maine coon for your pic. Arent they the most interactive buggers. When I found Rocky he was 6 months old and at first thought he was wild. We had a few rough months until he calmed down. Couldnt walk across the room without being attacked. Now hes just a delite and will "nurse" and make biscuits on my daughters shoulder. Have a great night. Kitty hugs sandy

Amen to that -- Sandy's a sweetheart! I'm only too happy to help, Karen. Dozens and dozens of cheezfrenz have shared their duplicate collectibles to make sure everyone who wants a collection can have one, and Sandy has been so helpful there. I just get to deliver or relay them. If you don't have another plan for it, could I please have your duplicate "Broke the Internets" to share with someone else? Thanks much! Have a good evening and a great Sundog! ~Jane
