Not much of a horses-fan. I enjoy looking at them, mebbe pet 'm on the head... I'll stick wif kittehs, or ginnypiggees. They gave me much fun when I wuz a kid! And still do, over here, too! Jee, if this site, internet even, existed when I wuz a teenager.! (Hmm, I'd prolly still bee in prison, or so..) :)

I stayed home and raised that awesome daughter while also raising Appaloosa horses. Taming and training foals is a job that takes a lot of strength and savvy, though. They are born just horses, not Tame horses! Most of them don't like to be restrained. They will pull back just to be pulling back so I had to outsmart them. And from a start of 70-80 pounds they grow to several hundred by the end of their first summer. But it sure was fun!!! The horse market is so terrible and feed so costly that some people have abandoned their horses on roadsides to graze. I have one retired broodmare left, for a pet.

Meris was in Police Academy during the day and worked on an ambulance as a Critical Care Transport Paramedic on the night shift. You two must have much in common!!! Just thinking about that tires me out, but I'm old enough to have medicare now. When I was a lot younger.....maybe!! ^--^ >*<

I sorta know what dat's like...*snerk* I did a 3 yr logistics degree in 1 yr, while working at the company that paid for it...And when they couldn't promote me they let me go...To take a master in audio recording/engineering/production. That was a 2 yr thing I also did in 1, while working as a freelance engineer... Hey, gotta pay the rent! But there is absolutely NO time for any other things, sadly... I think study and work are the best things to invest in. you just make friends on the way!!! :)

Thanks!!!! All the time Meris was going to school full time and working full time I didn't know how she managed. But she did, and she's going into law enforcement, which she always wanted to do.
