Hi friend, I know that you were once the go-to for turkeys. Now that you've given them all away. Do you think there's any hope of me finding one out there? Just wondering if you've seen anyone with an extra. Thanks.

I wondered where that Carrier came from. Thanky Thanky. And just in time...Had to take my goggies to the vet for shotz (IRL). One of them doesn't like to go for rides and spazzes out.

The Queensland flooding is now the biggest natural disaster in Australia's recorded history. The weird/huge rain event which caused it was blamed on El Ninio (is that how it's spelt?). Flooding spread to pockets of New South Wales and South Australia. But Victoria also had separate floods, and are worsening. Even the island state of Tasmania has floods. Meanwhile Western Australia has the usual summer catastrophe - bushfires! Australia - drought for how many years, shocking bushfires in Victoria 2 years ago and now floods! We do need the water desperately ofcouse, but not all at once. Things good where you are?

Cats of unknown pedigree are quaintly termed companion cats at cat shows here in SA. Miracle would qualify to be shown in the companion classes here as he is desexed. There are no strict standards for this class due to the obvious variations. Temperament, health, presentation/grooming are all important. The tail fault would rule him out in pedigree classes but may not present a problem in "domestic". Some cat societies may require proof of vaccination which may be something you're opposed to. Cat shows present some risk to cats re transmission of bugs, but simple hand-washing usually prevents spread of bugs & any cats displaying signs & symptoms ill-health are prevented from entering shows by a qualified vet. Is this for you & Miracle? It's not for everyone. My cats have never contracted anything in 4 years & are super-healthy darlings. The well-being of our cats is always paramount. I've had fun making friends & mixing with like-minded people.

2 of my cats are showcats so that's how I get to bask in reflected glory!! Luka is semi-retired for a year now, a little chubby and on a long-term diet. He just gets chubby! Nikky will be shown again this year starting March. He is a star Russian! Russian standards differ in Australia/UK to the USA, mainly the ear placement I think. Nik loses weight unless I encourage him to eat. Is Miracle mixed or pure-bred? Showing can be fun if your cat has a suitable temperament AND you don't take it too seriously. Mixed breeds/domestics are welcomed. Christkitty might enjoy it too.

That's great! I don't really understand the site. Are the same pets eligible for pet of the day each day and at the same time competing for some bigger prize? And do similar things happen at PawNation?

Hi Mews, congrats on getting your thermometer! I had a question for you. I'm still new to the collectibles hunt. I've actually been pretty lucky lately filling in my missing spots, but I seem to be hitting a dry spell in finding them on my own. Since you seem to have so many, I was wondering if you've figured out any pattern or method of finding them? Just curious. Thanks!
