Thanks very much for the comment you left on youtube, glad you enjoyed it. The other day I spotted a (kind of) contest for short films on the theme of Metamorphosis, with only a couple of days left before the deadline. So needing to come up with something I could do very quickly - and having quite a few dolphin pictures left over from the last video - I did a (very short!) animation called If Dolphins Had Day Jobs. http://youtu.be/aDluGI1yjHg Hope you're feeling well.
Hope you're feeling okay and that 2012 has been treating you well. And now please forgive the fact the following is cut and pasted. ;) - Please forgive the "copied and pasted" message. This one was made for a challenge in which I had to make a film in one week with the title: "Dolphin in a Coma," and was screened at Kino London on Thursday night as part of the London Short Film Festival. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kO2qFvgnc9I
lol! boing boing boing! I am glad I don't have new flooring yet. walking is enough of a challenge on some days....or portions of some days. There is a fine balance between pain meds, balance, and the imbalance of not enough pain meds. This too shall pass, already markedly better than in the hospital, but some days.....hoo boy. Especially now that I don't need the meds as much so I don't take them every four hours as prescribed. By the time I notice, it can be eight hours later...and waaay too late. Thank heavens for fast acting meds!
oh my, I have no idea where I would even find them...that was 1972 I think..maybe 3 when I took my one and only photography class. It was not meant to be my major though it served me well in taking slides of my art work and student asignments. I do remember viidly one photo of swans swiming in the lake with snow falling all around. One of my best days that school year, though I made great friends with the photography lab guy and one of the grad students. They wanted to use me as a model until in a fit of "i don't know what I am doing" I cut off my waist length straight hair. Sigh..I can just imagine what Gemma would have done with me...she was taking photos of models and putting them into paintings done by other artists. These days they would just photoshop everything in...back then it was an exotic process involving gum arabic and photosensitive chemicals on watercolor paper..and I think.. glass plates with masks painted on them. I can't even remember the name of the process anymore. sigh...Gemma would have given me a print of any of the photos too. But...life was ick..I just broke up with some guy....i wanted to "remake" myself...hoo!
lol...once upon a time...I did, infra red film and a tripod....the best shots turned out to be at the zoo during a snowstorm though. Boy, I thought, winter...zoo...all the animals would be hiding somewhere warm or all curled up....Nope! so many were out playing in the snow and the zoo was near empty. Best zooday evar! Still...I commend you on your steady arm and hand or those phone photos would have been a blur.
that blancmange episode was the first Python episode I ever saw. It was being shown at like 11pm on public tv here during the 70's. My ex and I almost never missed the chance to watch, even if it meant watching while at his folks or mine....and listening to their comments about did we really think this was humorous.
yep...caught it! Some of the pre snoball stuff has been hugely funny...yours and Villow's have been amazing....some are bordering a little on meaness....more from a "my team do or die! unleash the dogs of war!" attitude than real meaness, but I think I will be happy when the snow ball fight is over and hopefully the partisanship will calm down. I intend to do witchly spells from in front of the fire and let the kitkids enjoy themselves, if I am around.
molly! hoot! that Monty Python Scott's tennis player from the Blancmange episode? My ex used to say it was his twin doppelganger! hee! I don't know whether I want to save the pic to my hard drive or not....nah, guess not, I may have thrown darts at his photo during the divorce, but my, how the years change things....rarely think about him until something like this reminds me. ah, at least I can now remember the good stuff without pain, and the bad stuff without rancor. If I remember correctly that Scott gets eaten by the blancmange right?
thx molly. i missed that updated version of Sherlock you told me about. It ran on PBS but wasn't available on demand. We can only hope that we will catch it on the rebound. I can't afford to send PBS or really anyone donations since I got divorced, so no more handy guides from them. I look forward to the days when my business might support me well enough to resume the donations I used to make.
glad they live with Les. His family is very psychic, and I am sort of bonded to them constantly, which is very nice. I can't wait until we can get a chance to meet..but for all we know they are on a parallel world. weird again, but they exist. At least I know they are embodied, guides and guardians usually are not. ok...rambling...serious rambling...too much lactic acid in brain from lack of sleep...sorry Molly...LOL!
I haven't slept in oh.....heck...I've forgotten. I think I slept Friday during the day some.....I go through periods like this, where I get too ucomfortable to sleep even with sleep aids or pain pills....and often with visual things going on....all because my three scoliosis are untwisting, which is cool...except for periods like this. I have given over five gifts in a day, but I think they were all to different peeps. Will try sending two to one person on one day just to see. I wanted to ignore the collecables...but I know this is weird, but since I channel animals as well as other psychics and my guides and guardians, well...damn...I am Kitten Pecked! What can I say?! I do know you aren't supposed to be able to get more than one collectible a day...and the kit kids are so POed to have missed Dr Tiny Cat and half the Thanksgiving noms. I would say they need a life..but that is what kittens do, sleep, eat and play...and cause mayhem....9 kittens can cause a lot of mayhem...glad t
ooooh....well, I won't spoil it for you then. I was so jazzed. I know there are sort of limited channels in Great Brittain, but here, if you get cable, then any Brit show that is not on Public Television gets shown on BBC America. there is a marathon of the old Twilight zone series on the SciFy channel, all weekend, started on Friday morning...and the Fox Movie channel was showing off there "Legacy Film Vault". Since my social and work life have gone down the tubes with this healing arc I am on, it is TV or computer..or meditating, twiddling my thumbs or chatting with one of my housemates if they aren't working on their internet business. I am so disoriented, I keep thinking today is Monday. Mostly because one of my housemates went to work today.....and even though yesterday was New Years day, instead of being glued to football bowl games....a huge thing in the USA, they were doing an international online business chat. Then again....I haven't slept in oh.....heck...I've forgotten
They actually make it really easy to see who you can gift what. You position the mouse over the item, click the gift box and just scroll through the friends list that pops up. I try to stay under 150 friends because i simply can;t keep track of most of the ones I have now....but it was easy to give up all my extra collectibles as new years gifts to my peeps.
Hi Molly, Happy New Year! Sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you, but I haven't been on the boards much. It would get the kittens off my back if we could have invisible guitar or sandwich. You have extras on some of the dr tiny cats, but those are retired..don/t know if they can be given or not.
