Hey, love! how are you doing today? I saw your 'escape car' lol. Mine is gone, so I'm glad yours is still up. I'll go get mine off of my harddrive and post it again. I would have never known it was gone if I hadn't seen yours. Thank you. I gotta keep up with these things, lol! I'll send it over when I find it. We are off to see The Book of Eli. Blessings!

By flyhawk on Nov 25, 2009 at 8:15 PM In Ivanhoe, the Jewish lass, Rebecca, is my fave character. She is made of stern stuff and is deeply commited to God. Whereas the Lady Rowena was a floofy, shallow airhead. Rebecca said, "I envy thee not thy faith which is ever in thy mouth, but never in thy heart nor in thy practice." Ouch! But the best was yet to come, "I may not change the faith of my fathers, like a garment unsuited to the climate in which I seek to dwell." She was something!

Few people are willing to make a firm stand for what they believe in. I was just quoting Rebecca from Ivanhoe to sapphire. Let me go get it. brb

It'z great u get a chance to do that. God bless u in it. I have to laugh about wat u said tho, (again). That lead guy on baywatch, (don't know his name, never watched the sho) was on vakay in Hawaii. He saved a drowned boy's life using the techniques they learned on the show!

By NObama08 on Aug 7, 2009 at 3:52 PM

No, not a pastor, I don't even play one on TV. I am a deacon and Sunday School teacher who sometimes get to preach when the pastor has to be out of town. He is also a police chaplain and had to go out of town for a course on hostage negotiation.

By flyhawk on Aug 7, 2009 at 3:46 PM

Sorry bout that time lag. Gotta long distance call. Boy, I'd have liked to have heard that sermon. Are you a pastor or did you just do the intro?

By NObama08 on Aug 7, 2009 at 3:22 PM

I actually contrasted Brave New World & 1984, using Huxley's and Orwell's fears for what Society would be ruined by for a sermon introduction a few weeks ago.

I had to laff @ your logical conclusion Obama care lol favour. We just watched that old show last month. I got it on vhs years ago. Our friend had never seen it. I taped Brave new world and farienheit 451 off of PBS. It's amazing to see the Bible's Revelation, Daniel and others unfold right before our eyes. Blessings!
