Well, if you can do it, more power to you, you're a stronger person than I am. That particular person is probably your strongest replacement candidate, and since it means so much to you I hope you find somebody. Did your sister already put down the deposit?
hm...we both know someone who likes to craft, may well be able to afford to go, is retired and so *may* be free that week. 'course, they prefer to drive and set their own schedule and route...just me musing, not necessarily a serious thought. Or maybe it is. OTOH - reliving your old trip? That would be rough for *me* to do (for anyone passed on in my family I cared about), are you sure that is something you want to do?
huh. Think my schedule is full. ;) "but seriously folks" - bummer, to get your hopes raised and dashed. You still soldiering on at work? You really ought to see the vet, er doc if it keeps up. PS & btw GMTA, I had the same idea for the "Mommy's lap" lol but figured I'd let someone else do it, 'cause I'm working on a music lol for that picture. Same thing happened with my last music lol; Chris10a lol-ed it first, only her idea did _not_ occur to me. Not exactly, anyway. *** To health and better news!
That's wonderful that you had those visits from Lola! I've never seen any of my Bridge kittehs, but I felt one sitting on my leg during the night, and I had a dream that was much more than a dream involving the cat whose loss I thought was going to end my sanity. She didn't speak in the dream but I just knew her thoughts. She came to tell me not to be so upset. She rubbed against my leg to say goodbye after she let me know she had to go and that it was all to be accepted and then walked across the room (was my living room) to the wall on the other side. When I looked at the wall behind her, it revealed a scene of a beautiful meadow filled with cats of all shapes, sizes, and colors. She stepped "into" the meadow, and the dream ended. My heartache also ended from that moment. I still miss her, but there is peace, no pain. I do hope I will be blessed with some sort of visit from Blackie. Thanks for sharing your Lola visits with me.
