Lightning struck their a/c unit y'day (fried the circuit board).....will be tomorrow before the property management peeps get the new one installed.....I hope my dd will go visit somebody today. She has friends nearby.....I hope she'll go spend the day with them.

You have quite an impressive profile! I had Doc for only 10 years and took him with me after I left my husband. There was one stray kitten left when I moved and I couldnt find a home for her. My new landlord told me to go get her. Purrrfect replacement. And a whole lot less trouble. So when my Doc passed I felt like I lost one more thing.Was married 30 years when I was replaced, I just got the better deal! Thx for your condolences. It means a lot.
