Actually, I'm still wandering in the wilderness- that is an old LOL which fought its way onto the Front Page. Orperhaps the Cheeze lords are trying to offer an olive branch... Naw, it just means the new crop of LOLers are so lame they'll even turn to a self-exiled master to fill their pages... Stay tuned, though, I do seem to be wandering in and out of the site more often!

Thank you for the sentiments. I'm afraid my heart is telling me it was her time; after all, I'd known her for 8 years, and she was not a kitten when I first saw here. She was probably at least 10, a long life for a cat living a feral life. And I think her soul was in a wandering frame of mind, and decided to try out that next life rather than face another winter out doors. I had tried from time to time to entice her into my house, but something in her past prevented her from trusting being enclosed like that. So I hope Bastet has a warm meadow picked out just for Sheba, and that my little queen takes all the time in the worlds to decide when and where to return to this one.
