I confess I don't know much about HP himself, but I've read a fair amount of his stuff. Do you have an e-reader? There's a site where you can download his complete works for free formatted for nook or kindle: cthulhuchick.com/free-complete-lovecraft-ebook-nook-kindle/ I haven't read through it yet because I've been distracted by Dr. Who books, but it's definitely on the 'to read soon' list. Thanks for the link you sent. It looks like interesting reading. It's not surprising HPL had the good sense to be a cat person. It totally fits. Tentacled hugs to you, too, and may the old ones watch over you (but not too closely). ;^)
Do you know about HPL's great love of Cats? He wrote many poems and stories about them. My fave poem, written when his dearest Cat passed on, ends with: "With hidden griefs the grasses sway, unable quite to word them, remembering from yesterday, the Little Paws that stirred them."
