Poor little guy... Something should be done for the safety and comfort of our pets. Taking the plane is more and more painful and difficult, with all the security checks and so on. I'm really sad for Jack, I hope he will be the last wounded cats and that measures will be taken. Thanks for the updates anyway. Hugs.
We don`t know yet how he was wounded. In my opinion he was wounded when those idiots dropped his carrier. The clerk responsible for transporting the kennels to the FIS area loaded one kennel on top of another, and while the kennels were stationary and waiting to be loaded on the aircraft, the kennel positioned on the top fell to the ground. The impact of the fall caused the kennel to separate and the cat escaped.
JACK HAS GONE OVER THE RAINBOW BRIDGE. RIP sweet JACK! Jack had extensive wounds on the back of his body, and the wounds were unable to heal because his skin had deteriorated due to the malnutrition that occurred while he was lost. Despite antibiotics, the infections were worsening, and his skin was continuing to deteriorate. He needed surgery to treat the wounds, but there was not enough available skin to close the wounds after the surgery.
I hope Jack will be perfectly OK and that nothing bad happened to him while he was lost! Jack's human mum must be very happy to find her dear companion back! Does someone have an idea about what happened to Jack all this time?
