. . .well practice make perfect, learning how much is 1000 characters (with or without spaces?) through trial and error (yes I am wordy for sure). At least I copied before I posted this last time, so I can try again to send you what got trunkated. I may now be at risk of offending you! Wow, I'm off to some start, huh? As I was saying. . . How would anyone know I even repeated their words (in what I perceived to be more esthetic and just for my eyes) unless they were looking at my library? Anyway thanks for being a true friend and queueing a newbie in! My intent is certainly not to offend anyone as I'm trying to just enjoy the great lol photos through my own eyes!

. . . evidently I got trunkated at the 1000th word (you'd think there would be an indicator?) to finish what I way expressing: I discovered that you can't SAVE someone else's caption (which seems like a software oversight to me), you have to add it to FAVORITES instead. Yet I felt that so many captioners tacklessly overused that cat gibberish, and plastered their words inappropriately all over the fantastic photos! So, I thought that by only SAVING (as opposed to SAVE & VOTE--then voting seperately), I was only posting to my own STUFF library and not the community where my caption (actually thought of my someone else first) would be seen. Maybe this isn't how it works, though? It certainly would be counter productive to upset anyone--and if anything, my immitation of their words should be taken as a vote of approval, not the opposite. Actually, how would anyone know I even repeated their words (and probably used a different size/color font, and less gibberish) unless they we

I really appreciate the heads-up Pipwood, and nice to see I'm not the only one up in the middle of the night on the computer at times! I was typing you a post that just disappeared (maybe it was my 1000th word, so don't know if this will be a partial repeat)? I had an inkling that some authors coveted ownership of their captions, as I discovered yesterday (day 3 of my membership) that as I scrolled through the great lolcat photos with their captions and chose to recaption those that made me think of a great caption, I learned that you could SAVE what you re-caption and the great captioned photo would be in your STUFF library--then I could share and enjoy my best vibs any time I needed to lol. That got me somewhat hooked while recovering from a horrid sinus infection at scrolling through the fantastic photos people so expertedly took and even loling over the myriad of captions others had provided. However, I discovered if you like someone else's exact caption and would like to save

Well I read this week that the sun is going into a serious lull period, which tends to cause mini ice ages, so maybe it will all come out in the wash. I'm not totally convinced on global warming but we still should find alternative energy that doesn't stink, smog up the place and spill gunk everywhere.

Nice to noes you too Pipwood! London sounds nice this time of year. Here, we seem to be on a storm/boil rotation, pretty typical midwest weather--Stockholm in the winter, Athens in the summer (except this time it's Bangkok in the summer). Oh well...bad weather means more time for lolcattin'. Yours, Snippet

Hi there - Thanks for asking! She chose piano, the classical-plus-jazz focus, and after the audition they said she could move into some groups. She just auditioned for those yesterday, so we'll see what kind of group they put her in when the semester starts. What's going to hit her hard is that she's going from a school that ends late (end of June) to one that starts early (middle of August). Short summer! How are things going with you? How are things over there with the new government(s)? Do you miss New York? I do. On Facebook, I'm a friend of Matilda Cat at the Algonquin. She's a doll.

I'll try, though I could use a little rainy, blustery, and chilly about right now. It's not the heat that's the problem. It's the humidity. I grew up in a more temperate environment than this. Even though I've been down here eight years, my body still hasn't adjusted to the climate.

LOL. I don't care what they say about sweat. To me, it just makes me feel even hotter. It's unusually humid this time of year. We normally don't get the stifling humidity until mid-July or so. Plus they're predicting twenty something tropical storms this year. Want to trade places?

I'm trying to. It's so brutally humid today that I don't want to do anything. One of the many joys of living in a sub-tropical environment. :-)
