Ouzo is better than Jagermeister, which brings out my inner pugilist every time I try it! If you want to make me shudder, wave a bottle of tequila in front of my face...I will *NEVER* do that again. Ever. Not for love or money. No. *pleh* *hugs*

I've never developed a palate for wine, sadly, which is probably a good thing as a proper vintage is pricey. Sorry, but I'm not drinking anything decanted from a box or a bottle with a screw-on lid! Back in the day when I had a real problem, hard spirits were my quaff of choice. Yes, Guiness is stout and yes, it can be bought here...but I want it closer to the source as I am sure it loses something in translation! There are places here that serve it draught and it *is* better than what's bottled...still... And it's probably a *very* good thing that I can't get my paws on absinthe! (Or real ouzo, for that matter.)
