Hai Pooty Tat! Yes, I'm back - and I DID take some pictures - though of course it WAS raining on the day Dane had free to take me! And NOW - I only need to find the chip they gave me with the pictures on it - it's so SMALL!!! :( But it has to be here somewhere! ;)
Hi Pooty Tat! Here I am in lovely Heidelberg with all the spring flowers in full bloom, including gorgeous lilacs everywhere and the chestnut trees just coming out!! I'm going to be able to get lots of pictures, I think. Although, come to think of it, sometimes photographing military installations can be tricky. I guess discretion is the name of the game! But - do your parents remember WHERE they lived in PHV? Because I can get pretty exact. Street and building number would be great. and anything else they might want to see from there? And indeed - ANYthing in particular that they might want - I can try to get. Otherwise I will just do general ones! Show last night went wonderfully well - I was a big hit! LOL!! People liked hearing about "the olden days!" And as always, I feel as if I had come home when I am here!
LOL!!! I seem to be getting mixed up! Pattonville is in Ludwigsburg - part of Stuttgart Military Community! I was thinking PHV - and I lived there too - in the BOQ right next to the Officer's Club! And I was there in 1967 - which gives away my age dreadfully, so I hope too many people aren't reading this! It WAS my first job! ;) But just think - I might have seen you there as a baby!! LOL!! But I don't quite understand your contact. Is that an email? I'll try it. Just paste it into the browser?
I will try to do that! Where did you live after you were born? Mark Twain Village? Or Pattonville? I could try for some pictures of those, too.
Hai! I din't work at teh hospital. I was teh Theatre Center Director at the Roadside Theatre in Seckenheim. http://www.roadsidetheater.com/ The program I'm going to be in is the first one listed - "Sentimental Journey." The one that is now at the old Patton Movie Theatre at Patton Barracks. But of course, we got all OVER everything in Heidelberg because we were always putting up posters for everything. But the hospital complex had a WONDERFUL movie theatre that had food service! Actually had little tables in front of the chairs. When were you born??
