My poor mother had a stricken look I'm sure because she told me about it later and the doctor just made notes on his chart and told her "she's fighting the drug, she pass out in a minute" I did.

I had a surgery one time and my brother and best friend were visiting right after they brought me home from the hospital. The doctor had given me pain pills and I took one 'just in case' I was so stoned and watching 'that' corner of the ceiling catch up with the other side of the ceiling.. stoopid grin on my face.. Tammy asked me 'you're stoned aren't you"?and I just nodded my head and watched all that move slowly into place. She told the doctor who said to cut them in half but i never needed them.. All my druggie experience is from perscription drugs.. One time before surgery and that time at home. Embarrassed my mother.. The nurses were wheeling me from my room to surgery, after I'd been given the beginner pre-surgery drug and I'm hollering down the hallway "WOW! No WONDER the orderlies steal this stuff"!!!

No, it was more exciting than those things. We went outside to plant some flowers, and I stepped off the deck. That's it. It's way too high to not have steps, and boom I went. No idea how, really. The next thing I knew, I was on the ground & my foot was in a place no foot should ever be. I'm not having to take anything for pain now, but after I realized the rx they gave me was making me a million times worse (who would have thought) I was using advil. Still a little swollen & can't put much weight on it, but it's doing okay. My husband has been a man I don't even recognize. He's taking care of everything, and doing it with a surprisingly happy attitude. Lots of miracles going on over this way :oD

How did you manage to break your ankle? parashute jumping? surfing a tsunami or skiing in a downhill race? Good for you finding a good suplimental.. I hope your break heals quickly. Advil takes down the swelling and is out of your system in 24 hours.

Broke my ankle 2 weeks ago, so I'm being forced to take better care of myself. :op Got what seems to be a decent multi vitamin (better than the junk one I'd been taking w/ no results). Need to do a much better job w/ the water, though. Normally I drink about a gallon a day (I like water), but for some reason, I haven't been drinking nearly enough lately. Thank you for the reminder :o)

And I hope you are taking care of yourself.. Drink plenty of water and I recommend a good B complex... Some C can't hurt either. And Dark Chocolate... if you aren't allergic I mean.

If bananas make him horribly sick.. that sounds like an allergic reaction to me. I hope he gets completely well from all the nasties that are coming against him.

By RamonaQ on Apr 20, 2010 at 5:36 PM

He's not great. He's *feeling* and acting a lot better, but he has turned very yellow again. Waiting on blood test results taken Friday to see if anything shows up. We're doing bloodwork every few months. No end in sight. But we did finally realize that bananas, though is is not allergic to him, make him horribly horribly sick. So that's something to be thankful for. I am also thankful that he's up & about, and not laying around in utter misery, but it would be nice for it to be *over* and he be completely healed. :o/ Thank you for asking :o)

By Tempie on Apr 20, 2010 at 1:38 PM

How is that boy of yours doing? I'm clearing off old messages and saw all the testing he'd gone through.. How'd that all go? Is he better now?

By Tempie on Nov 18, 2009 at 3:02 PM

Will do and God Bless you with strength and stamina and healing and just the right friends and the right words to come to you at just the right moments.. all along this path you're having to walk.

2016!!! high whine... oh nooo. I just saw on Perry Stone's site a message about the weird things happening now.. like you said. I'm going to watch it for sure now. All I see are the hateful thngs and how the U.S. is being dragged down into a depth so the end times will happen according to the Word. A strong Christian America would hold this current evil back thorugh prayer and good works.. Our public prayers are being silenced by law.. yep, it's getting nastier.

If I wore a watch, I'd be looking at it all the time... nag nag nag. I'm a Star Trek fan and I thought Worf had the best approach and I've re-worded it to suit MY faith.. "Lord, this is a GOOD day for a Rapture" I know He knows how impatient I am... I keep hearing about 2012 and whine about having to wait that long..oy. In HIS time and I'll be thrilled no matter when. amen until then, I have to occupy and share the gospel and pray for unbelievers.. the list goes on so I will be busy. AND I have some ideas for adding onto a story book for my grandchildren. Since my friend Mary was published, hey! MEE TOO! There's another miracle from God.

I went to the youtube site about praying to Obama... blasphemy. yikes. It's gonna be easy for, when the antichrist shows up. People are already praying to some guy that just got voted in.. Even so Lord Jesus, come quickly.

He doesn't/can't eat any of those things, so that's a mercy. I didn't know that there was any connection to yeast, but I was wondering about it - thank you. This is very helpful information.

By Tempie on Sep 7, 2009 at 12:37 PM

My natural foods/herbal studies told me that excema is a yeast infection ~Candida~ that with diligent diet suppliments can cure it. Acidopholous. the live cultures in yogurt? yep. Take it at night because that's when the hydrocloric acid level in the stomach is at it's lowest and it's the stomach acids that kill the good bacteria. I'm trying to remember what feeds the bad bacteria... oh! sugar! processed sugars feed the bad bacteria. White bread processed foods. cut out the starches.. pasta etc. use tortillas and pita breads to hold the sandwich stuff together. There's books in the health food stores that tell you better. I can't remember the natural products that ease the skin conditions... In the books. Hope that helps.

By RamonaQ on Sep 4, 2009 at 8:32 AM

Got the results - his adrenal gland is working okay. The doctor thinks hydrocortisone is causing it, so we have to stop using it. Please pray for his skin. I'm so worried it's going to flare up. We haven't been using cortisone much this past year, so there is hope that this is doable, but... if it flares up, he is going to be in misery. He has atopic dermatitis/eczema. It's gotten better over the years, but I'm not at all sure what's going to happen now. I hope your book gets out soon. I can't wait to see your illustrations! :oD

I was told by the author who was told by the publisher that it would be in the stores July 18th. Not here. Mary has check in several states and it's not in any of the stores she checked and her friends checked with. I have a friend in Florida who checked for me and not there either. Mary is looking at her options and we're working on the second book already.

By RamonaQ on Sep 2, 2009 at 4:35 PM

When do you think it will be in stores?

By Tempie on Sep 2, 2009 at 2:13 PM

Nope it doesn't let you look inside.

By Tempie on Sep 2, 2009 at 2:07 PM

I can't put them on the .. whatever this is called.. or my facebook because they're copyrighted... I know Mary has put a couple in the paper to ..I don't have all the words for when she doing an interview for the paper. Now that you mention it tho, I'm going to Amazon to see if they show any in the ordering set up. I order books online and they let you read some of it.. brb

By RamonaQ on Sep 2, 2009 at 2:01 PM

Well, it's not on the east coast either, just so you know. ;o) I want to see your illustrations!

By Tempie on Sep 2, 2009 at 1:56 PM

That's quite alright and thank you so much for checking for me but it DAWNED on me ( I am soo slowwww) that I have unlimited long distance so I can call where ever I want to see if the book is in. THEN it occurs to me that if I don't have it here and she doesn't have it there and her friends over THERE don't have it that's breach of contract. So. Oregon, Florida, N.C. Oklahoma, California, Texas.. that ought to be widespread enuf to complain. Again Thank you so much. You have so much on your own plate right now, what a doll.

By RamonaQ on Sep 2, 2009 at 10:07 AM

I called - they don't have it. I don't want to say where I am on here - mail me @ berryhappyhome@gmail.com

By Tempie on Aug 31, 2009 at 9:04 PM

Would you do me a huge favor? Call Borders and see of they have Aspen Cat Adventurer Extraordinare in stock? Then tell me what state you live in so I can HOLLER at the publisher for breach of contract. Yes, a phone call would be divine. Thankyou.

By Tempie on Aug 26, 2009 at 6:37 PM

I'm still praying. May God's blessings abound for you.

By Tempie on Aug 26, 2009 at 10:40 AM

Hurry up and wait... be patient and your questions will get answered. Take a note pad to write down what they say. That way, when you take it before the Lord you can be specific in your requests. It helps in looking it up on- line so you can deal with it in the natural as well.

By RamonaQ on Aug 25, 2009 at 7:00 PM

Thank you :o) We go in for a test tomorrow that will determine whether or not it's his adrenal gland. I don't know if we'll know right then & there, or if there's some sort of another wait.

By Tempie on Aug 25, 2009 at 5:23 PM

You got it.... I'm praying now for the doctor's wisdom and that they see all they need to see to solve this.

By RamonaQ on Aug 25, 2009 at 9:43 AM

It's not his thyroid :o( Will know more after husband talks to doctor this afternoon. We think more tests will have to be done. Please pray this is resolved soon.
