Hello RedRobin. From an "alternate universe", far, far away. ;-) ("alternate" to Burbank, CA, I'm guessing. ) Lots of animals out here in the Mexican, border lands mountains(though, most of them are not especially friendly), but very few people.
well sometimes the funniest caption is the one that comes up when you first see the picture. Just look at the lols i made. some of them I didn't need that much time to think about them.
I hate fast food period :) I typically support the local mom + pop places or cook for myself. Even in Tampa there are independently owned places that treat their livestock right, but they're awfully hard to find. Glad to hear that you're on the same page - there is no greater evil than the torturing of the innocent.
just press caps lock, then go to the webdings font, and press "y". thats how to do the hearts
Wow, that is very interesting! It's fun to learn about things in other climates. Folks around here really like birch trees. We have one in front of our house called a River Birch. The bark on it actually 'peels'. It kind of reminds you of how your skin peels when you get a sunburn. There are white ones around, but I think that is a different kind of birch, because they don't have the peeling effect. Then under it we have perennial flowers. In the spring, there are flowers that grow for a few weeks, then die, then a different flower comes up underneath and does the same thing. There are 3 different kinds of flowers underneath. It's fun to watch.
Hi Grace, glad to meet you! Have you lived in CA all your life? I'm not sure how old you are... I'm 54. I've been in the midwest all my life. I really enjoy the changing seasons. I can't imagine having warm weather and no snow at Christmas time!! I've been to Florida a few times. I love the palm trees-- they are so pretty and unusual. I sure don't like the alligators or the cockroaches however!! Meant to tell you... We had a long haired tortie at one time. She was a sweetheart. -Mary Jo
I envy you, living where you do, but I certainly wouldn't want your heat! My husband told me once he was there and it was 108 degrees!! Guess it's essential for you to have a pool! We only get the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds. I miss them. Our last home was in a woodsy area, and we got a few, so it was fun. I've never heard of bottle brush bushes, will have to look that up. Our trees are turning yellow, red, brown, and orange now. Our most beautiful time of year! But it's getting cold! Only 43 degrees right now... rainy and windy. Nice and toasty inside however! Take care, Mary Jo (and your name is???)
