I am 67 years old and I have lived through two wars. My father was killed when I was ten years old and I grew up with my mother and two brothers as my only family. My early life was rather difficult but my mother kept it together for all of us.
ANYTHING in life that is truly good & rewarding is hard to get to, but once you're there, it is truly wort it. I'm doing ok, just kind of getting by, mainly just volunteering here and there, making LOLs, and trying to sell my hobby collections to pay some bills, and take part in my Middle Ages re-enactment group (SCA).

That sounds really cool. Kind of a "Milo and Otis" meets "Flowers in the Attic." Interesting. I wanna hear more about it as you progress. You've made an interesting decision for your story, it will sell. :)
Well, there comes a time in our lives when we have to make some pretty serious decisions and we can't be fooling around with our selves in making them. It seems that this is one of those times for you. You don't need me or any one else meddlng in your decision making process because any one of us would be most likely to advise you wrongly. Probably the best advice I could offer is to be true to your self and who you are. Don't lie to yourself at any point no matter what you might be tempted to do. Really look at yourself and think about where you want to go and what you want to be in your life then choose the best one to help you achieve your goals. Any one who is not congruent with your thinking will only be an impediment to you.
Hey hon, how are ya? Good to hear from you! I know, life takes us away at different times, but I'm always here as a friend!! *HUGZ!* Are ya still going to try and be a K-9 handler with the police? If you are, stick with it, it can be a very rewarding and wonderful career!
YOUCH!A back smackinz isn't a good thing! I feel for ya! Why did I drop out? Kind of had to. I had been injured so many timmes on duty (worked in a few really rough areas) I had to get out of it. Even worked corrections for a while, but the system here in Iowa is so corrupt...well being honest doesn't pay if you are a correctional officer. No way back? Sounds intriguing. When you can. I'd like to hear more about it. :)
O dear! I can c wat I can do hun. I didn't know she lost a pet. I just spent 4 days in Charleston. Just getting back today.
O hai!!! I paint just about anything that comes to my mind; mostly people and animals. I am a professional artist and have sold my paintings successfully. My advice to you (as you think your work is rubbish;-) is to begin your work by LOOKING very, very carefully at the thing you want to draw or paint. Don't draw it as you think or imagine a thing looks....really see the details and try to reproduce them. Good luck!!

Reading your profile. You wish to be a K-9? Jolly good for you! I decoyed for the K-9's in my time in the army...oh so long ago. I was in training to go tto the school, but things happened and I had to leave it behind. You are in for one grand adventure!!!
Plus, another failing with socilai networks is it keeps me from writing more of the series. There's supposed to be 5 books total (so far.)
