definitely moving forward both physically and emotionally. Loosing the insurance was a wrench, but just having it at all was such a miracle. Life here in the tookiary continues to be strange. My housemates and I keep seeing a gorgeous grey cat with a white belly and bib and throat, one with paw.....not sure about the rest of the markings. she (pretty sure she is not a he) keeps bamfing in long enough to almost solidify...Bird said she got kitty nudged and Mage was nowhere in sight. Mage says wow, isn't she something! so I think she is real....as in not a ghost or etheric....she either doesn't have the power to fully materialize or is respecting boundaries a bit. What we don't know is who she belongs to and why she keeps "visiting".

ohai....I hassa reprieve! No surgery for at least a week...yay! Not that I see my life getting anywhere more organized before then, but perhaps I will be more healthy and ready to face the surgeons.
Dear Friends. I have had one transfusion and the doctors decided to send me home with medication to control the bleeding from the I will need one more transfusion to control my anemia before the surgery and hopefully some day someone will figure out why I become so very anemic every few years. All your beams and energy got me to the hospital and through the "ordeal" which was in its own way a very healing experience that put to rest some less pleasant ER and Hospital visits. I will be in much better shape to face the cancer surgery when it comes to that. Namaste and Bright Blessing to you all. Post messages at either mamagwyn or majikkittehz. She has been put into induced coma to make being on a respirator more easy and is being given high levels of antibiotics so she is stablizing. I;ve never met a cat who sleeps through the night like we do.....but it is nice to wake up to a warm body, even if it is only a kitty. Camille used to wake me up every morning between 2 and 3 to get a snuggle in before she would settle down for her middle of the night sleep. She would go to bed with me, heck...she was the one who INSISTED I go to bed! Then after I was asleep she would go on "patrol" which might include an attack of kitty crazies or not. Then the "Hi mom! I need some love!" then sleep.....then my morning alarm clock...Mom! It time to feed me! Mom! after which I might be allowed to go back to bed, but usually she wanted to go out after her food and hated not being readmitted when she wished. Nowadays I seem to sleep for four hours, wake up, move around go back to sleep...I think I picked it up from her.
Ohai tookat! I had a great morning as well! I woke up with all 5 cats in the bedroom, and 4 of them werer on the bed! John's out of town, and sometimes I wake up without anybody on the bed! Sheesh! I keep telling John that I'm going to keep getting cats until I get one that will reliably sleep with us LOL. Senor Tigre Jefe has given me a reprieve! I don't THINK that he has peed on anything in 2 days!!! We'll see what today brings. I use Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer for Cats for his "mistakes." It works quite well if you can soak the carpet and let it dry slowly. Sometimes, I have to reapply, but usually not. I'm glad things are warming up for you. The winter is our good time of the year. Unlike you, I'm hoping for a late spring and an even later summer. I think I'll just enjoy the beautiful weather today! The day sure is starting out nice! {{{{{tookat}}}}}
Ohai! How are things with Mr TJ...any better? I awoke to a brilliantly sunny, clear blue sky today....and even slightly warmer temps. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is the beginning of the real spring thaw. It has been a long and majorly cold winter here. Helpful in that my housemates cat does not try escaping outdoors in the cold and snow, but we all need a break and it will be nice to be able to open the windows and air out the house.
heh...i love your attitude Romeow! I am feeling quite well at the moment so yay! I would sit that kitty down and have a long talk with him. Not that he will care...he is a rather head strong kitty...and proud of his beautious looks. You might try adding some drops of Hornbeam. if that doesn't help you can just break the bottle over his head. So what do you use to get rid of the smell? I am always in search of a good recipe or product since cat pee is so redulent and long lasting.
oh hugs! nothing worse than a kitty on a peeing spree. heheheheh...loved the lol though. Just to be on the safe side you may want to check for a urinary tract infection. Sometimes the kitties will pee all over the place to let you know something is the matter with their peeing. Of course, it is also a way of remarking territory...this house and this person are mine dammit!
oh lol! I can't remember if I answered you....all the stuff with Rhokit came down and normal stuff just went out the window. I honestly don't know how foster parents give up their charges...especially the itteh bitteh ones....but the right forever home is the right forever home isn't it? Amazing what can happen when the stars and the planets work their majik.
bless you Romeow. I really don't know how foster people do it. Especially with the kittens who worm their way into hearts so easily. Those kittens will be a godsend to the family with the autistic kid. Sometimes animals can get through where people cannot.

in their water, food or on their skin whichever works. With alchohlics I always tell them to dilute the drops and put it on their skin for absorbtion. lol on the eye cleaning. Whoever says that animals are basically clueless or have no emotions has never spent time with one!
There was one time when I was having to pill her and she hid under the coffee table, so i kept moving the coffee table with my foot (pill was in my hand...or it may have been an already opened flea medication....yep that was it, so i couldn't allow it to spill) that little booger kept walking right under the center of the coffee table every time I moved it. She was a very, very smart cat, but then, she was my guide cat.
give those little ones some rescue rememdy or Star of Bethlehem for 5-7 days after they become smart. actually...give them some before they go to the vet as well. It will minimize the shock and fear. Poor little guys, I feel for them having to have surgery, but it is necessary. Kitties who are neutored are much much happier pets....and so are their parents. Glad TJ will eat it in his gushie fuds. My kitty could tell the diff. The only way to medicate her was rubbing it in her skin.
