Thanks. I didn't know if The Cheezes were going to do anything this year (last year they put up a pic with no comments allowed), but I thought we needed to do something. I thought it was so neat that so many people jumped right in and helped.
Depending on how many we are, we could also reserve a private room in a restaurant. Might be easier and less expensive. I'll also look around for more So Cal/Southwest types.

OOPs! I think I used up all my characters! LOL!! I think I just finished up with (eeckthecat's horse, but I don't know what she looks like. and the fifth stall is sometimes occupied by Kafleen teh Dawn Key stays when she comes to visit. Sort of like a guest stalll And they all graze and frolic in the big normal meadow behind the barn.
I think what you are doing is wonderful! Do you need anymore info about buildings? Or Mt McKinly, which is what LCB rode in the first race, and is near the outskirts of town. And don't forget that the Princess Mu meadow, in addition to the grassy area with lots of trees for shade, also has lots of flowers. Do you need, by any chance, the place where the meadow first came into being? Because that is where all the flowers are described. And I modestly left out the *ahem* JCH4K statue, which seems to be in the middle of the town. I never found where that started, but I think either LCB or cweenmj would know.
