Thing are going good. I had the bikes in the back of my truck when I picked up my grandson today from school. He saw them and said "Cool, We're going riding". We have a bike trail nearby, and took in the cheery spring day. Sunny & 68 degrees.
Mowing brings up another lol memory. My hubby being followed by a passel of laying hens as he mowed, picking up the bits of bugs and frogs. Nothing was wasted on that farm! Also we never had trouble with too many acorns when we had the ducks. I do miss those oaks around here. Maybe that's why the pioneers didn't plant any oaks, the ducks got all the acorns, lol.
The first three of the new collectibles that I got was tp. I can relate to the bird story. We have a rat terrier that will go after anything that ventures into our fenced-in back yard. I don't know how many bird carcases I've had to pick up while I'm mowing in the 8 years that we've had him.
Thanks for the tp, you musta have hadda lot if collardgreens got sum too, lol!. The birdie beside it in collectibles made think of a funny story about my long ago dog. We were out on a walk with him and suddenly realized that he was just heading home, no sniffing, no looking about. Heading home with a concentrated purpose. We stopped to check him. Sticking out of his mouth were two little birdie legs. That's all we could see of the little dead guy. It was difficult to get him to release his prize, but he did. We exchanged it for some treats because we did not know how it had met its demise and did not know if it was safe to let him consume it. For all concerned, some time life just isn't fair!
